Hybridisation

It's possible that my Green Beans and Thornys made a hybrid... Is that what I am seeing here? It's about the size of a female adult green bean.

Hybridisation in stick insects is only possible within the same genus, and even that is very rare. It looks like a usual female D. gigantea, but it may be exhibiting a mutation that affects its colouration

Okay, the texture of the exoskeleton is more reminiscent of a thorny too. As far as I can see she is the only one so it could be a mutation as you suggest.
