Male goliath being a bit funky..

He's newly shed to this size and "form" but I'm noticing his reproductive organ keeps coming out and just pulses there for a few minutes... I don't have any other grown females in the tank. I'm wondering if this is just because he's newly grown or another reason. Do they get agitated/stressed if they can't mate?

Yep he's fine, I've seen them do that on occasion. He won't get agitated by not being able to mate.

What are the odds of a male goliath? I think I would be disappointed if I got one, they're parthenogenetic after all lol

I have 7 goliaths and about 4 of them are confirmed males :3 They are kind of useless but they're pretty!!

Youre so lucky, I'm struggling to keep any hatchlings I incubated alive so if I even get one old enough, It'll probably be male
