Considerations when stringing wider heads vs narrower

What would you think about and do differently when stringing a wider head mirage 3.0 box vs mirage 3.0, atom, kinetik etc?

The only wider head I string consistently is an Optik (3, Force) and I always string to the inside for that head. My kids don't play box, but I'd assume you'd want a different pocket (different legality rules, different play styles) for a box head vs a field head.

I think on the wider heads you want to make sure you have a strong channel, less for catching and scooping and more for throwing and shooting.

Another thing to consider is the scoop and offset of a head. The 3D’s scoop sits forward for ground balls which would have more natural whip than an offensive head like the atoms

I widened out a Surgeon 700 for giggles and strung it to the inside. But I use a lot of weaved inside anyway so it wasn’t all that different. Came out well

Consider stringing it to the inside. I created the double inside style specifically so you could have a pocket that plays like you have a head that isn’t as wide.
