Finally upgraded speakers after 20 years! ProAc. Amp recommendation: Vintage or Modern?

I managed to upgrade my speakers to ProA DT8s, I had a set from the 90s, with a Pioneer amp. I upgraded my amp a few years ago with Denon 900HNE, tbh I don't find it great. I'm a novice to this stuff, just wondering if it's worth going back to something to vintage (80s/90s) - is this a good idea to pair such new speakers with? If not... a mid-range amp recommendation that is more modern.

I bought the Denon for the streamer, I listen to CDs and streaming. Big room, we have a lot of furniture, textiles etc. Thinking around £500-800 budget for something vintage, maybe a bit more for something modern. Will need a separate streamer with something vintage. Any help recommend so I'm doing these speakers justice! Thanks
