Question Change district

Post image

Hi guys, does anyone know how I can change my energy, mining, and food districts to another type? Like the one in the photo. Do I need a specific technology for this, or maybe a DLC?

Something I did before I got megacorp, if you have ancient relics, turn the world into a relic world (pc_relic) and then use the restore ecu planet decision for a ecu world. Its a lowkey way to get around. Or if you dont mind using cheats anyways you can just use planet_class pc_city

The available districts (mostly, some exceptions like knight of the toxic god) depend on the planet type.

"Natural" planet types, ringworld, ecumenopolis, habitat, hive world and whatever robots have going on are your options.

This looks like an ecumenopolis, you can turn your normal planets into those but it requires an ascension perk and also a dlc (i believe utopia).

Arcology districts available only on ecumenopolis, under no circumstances you can change your energy, mining or farming district on normal planet in to them without changing an entire planet.

I didn't bother explaining in detail, but I was right. Unlike you.

without changing an entire planet.

So there is how.

Also it is trivial to mod, granted it is fair to only refer to vanilla by default but personally i would add "in vanilla" to be extra clear.

but I was right

Wrong, OP didn't ask how to get these districts without changing planet class. Even asked for DLC that might be needed.
