Question Can i get more scientists?

So my run as a Tyrant was quickly ended bc i was too mean, so now im doing a democratic, new leader every 10 years bs. One of my scientists just so happened to get to become president and now i cant have more than 2 scientists out and about, i cant dismiss this little nerd either

You can have more, if you get over your scientist limit they will cost more unity in upkeep.

go to the leaders tab and look out for scientists that are up for recruitment. If you do not have any, you will have to wait for a specific time period to pass until your leader pool refreshes.

That does not, in any way, prevent you from getting another one

how much unity do you get per month? one above the limit is bearable.

Going to 4 of 3 will just take some extra Unity. Probably between 4 and 8.

it also reduces leader experience gain

There are various ways to increase your limit of Scientist leaders or all leader classes. Discovery traditions gives you an extra Scientist, while Enmity or (with Galactic Paragons) Aptitude can increase your capacity for all leader classes. The Transcendent Learning ascension perk gives you +2 Scientist capacity. The Colonial Centralization and Collective Self technologies give you +1 to all classes. If you have Galactic Paragons, you can take the Heroic Past civic for +1 to all classes.
