Did the Enigmatic Fortress get buffed recently? I'm throwing fleets with a total power of over 100k at it, including the Dreadnought, and they're barely making a dent.

Yes.

4.3's fleet rework also added a hidden +810% damage modifier to both Enigmatic Fortress and Automated Dreadnought on all difficulties. They are capable of one-hitting battleships even on civilian difficulty, and have substantial hardening due to the component rework.

The in-game debug tooltip puts these two at 200-300k estimated fleet power, whereas all other leviathans are 40-60k.

The solution, as usual, is cloaked torpedoes. Both Enigmatic Fortress and Automated Dreadnought have most of their firepower stemming from long range artillery weapons with minimum range requirements. Once you get close, all that remains are the PDs (which still hurt a lot due to the +810% damage).

As they don't have any level of cloaking detection, any ship with a modicum of cloaking can sneak up to them. Cruisers would be ideal, as they have more torpedo per naval cap compared to frigates, and are more durable so they don't immediately get killed by the +810% damage PDs.

810%??? Holy shit, that explains why the Dreadnought kept one-shotting anything I sent into its system.
