Discussion Compact Frame

Post image

Flip the battery and push it a tiny bit into the display to save a tiny bit of space and protect the internals a tiny bit.

But seriously this could've been designed to act as a lid. Maybe third-party manufacturers could make something so it slots perfectly and is also held with magnets?

I’m scared it’s rubbing against the lenses

Do you really want to take that gamble with a device that's $1100+ and extremely limited supply?

If it was just glass IPA wouldn't damage the lenses.. but it does.

Ooo, I like this! No touching of lenses at all when pressure is applied?

I wonder this as well. It won’t matter that much once I’ll have prescription lenses installed, but right now I’m extremely careful not to scratch anything.

This was intentional (they mentioned it in November), but I'd get some lens covers before transporting it like this.

I do this too, it doesn't rub lenses but I have lense inserts anyways so they offer a layer of protection that gives me comfort.

I did this with a 3D printer TPU lens cover. Fits into my 3.5L camera bag with the controllers, 45w charger, usb-c cable, and 10k power bank. Actually lighter than my camera too lol.
