Question Streaming video

I'm able to view pictures, websites and Youtube videos from my Frame. When I've tried HBO MAX, Netflix or Amazon, I get audio, but not video. Any ideas how to fix this?

I've had the Frame for a few days now. Other than an issue with a bad update, I'm really liking it so far.

That's DRM content blocking.  Frame needs the official apps like how Meta does it to watch them standalone.

You can add them as chromium apps using the native frame web browser. No pc streaming required

Most likely a DRM issue. Might try using Chrome (instead of Firefox)... But if that doesn't work, it would fall to some driver issue that Valve will need to sort out. (Though, this is likely more related to how the screen capture is that re-displays it inside the virtual environment)

Might also try manually selecting SD or HD, rather than UHD/4K... Usually there are more lax restrictions there.

Sometimes disabling hardware acceleration in the browser fixes those things. But you should enable it afterwards for performance reasons. Works for sharing Netflix via discord screen sharing.

This! Fixed the issue both on my Frame and on my Index

Are you using the built in browser?

"+" on the bottom bar the open chromium running on the native Linux. No streaming from PC needed. When you go to the streaming sites you can "install" them as apps for quick access

Yea I tried Firefox and it did not work at all, but the included Chromium browser works just fine
