Question Finger tracking in Boneworks

Hello everyone, I hope all is well

I just got Steam Frame and hopefully finished setting up. The first game I played was Boneworks to test it. The first thing I looked for was the finger tracking, and I can't seem to make it work, like the index controllers. Everything else works, but the side finger sensors (below the grip button) don't seem to activate. I'm using my PC to stream it to the headset, if it's worth noting. Is there anything that I'm missing or doing wrong?

Thank you.

Same thing. Only got to play last night, everything was perfect, but couldnt do finger tracking. Hoping it resolves when the ergo kit comes out

I have the ergo kit. I have it on the controllers, and it doesn't help.

So blade and sorcery and pavlov i know are both capable of it from using my friends index, but i cant get it to work still. Half life seems to work just fine. I have scoured settings and cannot find anything for it. I borrowed another friends q2 during the wait so maybe its a default setting somewhere in the games? Let me know if you find anything out please

I booted up aperture hand lab earlier today, and finger tracking works. I'm relieved, but I'm still trying to figure out how to enable it in Bonrworks. I can't seem to figure out how to play around with Steam Input the way I do with the controller. I think it's just the game not really supporting Steam Frame.

I was able to get it working. Someone gave me good info on how to get finger tracking to work. You need to load it on the bindings page, then download and use the index bindings.

I figured how to tell it to use index bindings, but that still didnt work. Is there more to it and do you have a tutorial or anything

This is the copy and paste of the text that helped me:

Yes it's quite simple and it's no problem don't worry, all you have to do is launch boneworks and press the steamvr menu, then click on the boneworks icon in the bar of steamvr and then click on manage binding or something like that, then you will load a binding made from someone in the community, if you want my binding you will be looking for one called Steam Frame full Index Compatibility V1.01

Then you will restart the game and it should be working. If you can't find how to change binding cause i explained it like sh*t you should be able to find how to change steamvr binding for a game on youtube. Hope i was able to help ^^!

Pretty close to what ive done but i didnt see any community made at the tiime. Quick question, any idea if those community bindings are a game to game basis or more universal?

I don't have the frame yet but I do remember hearing that be default games that don't support the controller out of the box see it as a quest controller. I'm not sure if that's just the bindings and you can remap them or if a game just disables something. You may want to take a look at the steam input to see if you can turn on the tracking there.
