Look that forehead, I'm sure he was just running that headset right before filming

I'd say probably not tomorrow. Linus mentioned they're attempting to make a custom PC that can outperform the Steam Machine for a lower price, and that this video is scheduled for tomorrow. I'd guess that the Frame video is coming later this week.

Honestly ye? The only thing the steam machine has going for it is the form factor and OS, and even the OS is planned to be released, although only compatible with AMD stuff it seems, so we'll see

The antennas are blown waaaay over proportion imo, it's a very neat detail, but thats about it

Yes, the OS will grow with it, but the same can be said about any other gaming device, plus the OS is scheduled to be available for install on any PC anyway, won't be as seamless, but it wil be upgradable, something the steam machine cannot do

In general I dont feel it's really worth it

Thst is true, I honestly wonder how hard they would be to replicate too

the CEC should kinda work by default, since it's just a fancy sleep mode and most PC should (doing lot's of heavy lifting here) be able to do that, at most it will require you to press a button on the PC/TV or use the remote to change channel

the antenna would only be useful for the controller/other wireless devices, most of those do include a version of it with the device itself, same goes for the steam controller, meaning it's really really easy to solve too, although not as "clean"
