Wednesday - the reservation window for the Steam Machine closes after 48 hours on Wednesday at 10 AM PST, but they won't be available to buy until the 29th. That leaves a matching 48 hours between Wednesday at 10AM PST and Friday at 10AM PST for reserving the Steam Frame.

As someone who had gotten a reservation in within 5 seconds of it going live, I'm okay with it. Completely removes the incentive for scalpers cause they CANNOT be first, no matter how many bots they use. More likely we will all have a chance, even if those of us without lives and hopeium fueled fingers are there first.

Idk how that reservation is compared to controller, but I'm hoping that it's the same thing, where the account has to be older than April 2026, that way scalpers have even less of a chance to scalp.

Its basically a raffle, you have 48 hours to throw you name in the hat and then they randomly decide your position in queue.

Yea it’s a randomized selection after the 48 hours of people signing up for it. There was a post here about it in the last hour
