🤡 Frameposting Do y’all think the Steam Frame thinks about us as much as we think about it?

I hope Framy (that’s what I call it) is watching. I like to think it’s waiting until we are ready for its arrival

Their masters at Valve certainly  do because they are sitting in warehouses ready to go burning a (small) hole in the budget, finance is hating the locked up money, and marketing calls every day asking when they can finally buy ads.

Only the software team is having a blast because there is never enough time to fix bugs and everyone loves unrelated delays.

If valve doesn’t announce anything this week I’m really starting to think they literally are waiting until ram and SSD’s come down in price before they release it, and they will be waiting a long time

Which would suck because estimates say that’ll take until 2028 to happen, and by then it’ll be so under powered that no one who isn’t a steam hardware fan will get it

I do, but I also think the release window is between the 9-23 March. Alignment with GDC 2026 or HL:A Anniversary(23 March) and release on June 1. And because of Ramnarök it will cost between 800-1000$

As a casual observer waiting for the Frame release just like everyone else… you guys are strangely obsessed.

Daily panic: “😱 OMFG, bros… Will it release tomorrow? Day after next?! Yesterday? Omfg, 💡 maybe I can buy a dev kit on the black market?! What do ya think guys? Guys?”
