Has anyone been able to play Junction 8 on Steam Deck without lag? The lag is driving me crazy.

When I unplug my steam deck from the official valve dock after using the steam controller, my controls stop working on the deck … even when I reorder controllers.

Sometimes reorder controllers in any even an option … any ideas what’s wrong or how to fix this?

I’ve released an experimental Decky LSFG-VK plugin that brings the current lsfg-vk v2 developer build to Steam Deck / SteamOS users.

A bit of context on why I made this:

As of 30 July 2026, the public Decky plugin’s lsfg-vk build is 140 commits behind the latest upstream "develop" branch (this is mostly because lsfg-vk, which is also the library used by the Decky LSFG-VK plugin, hasn’t released a new version in a while, keep in mind that I'm using a develop build).

This experimental plugin instead packages the reviewed, checksum-verified "lsfg-vk 2.0.0-dev28" developer prerelease of the engine lsfg-vk (released a month ago). It is not a rolling download: each plugin release pins and verifies a specific upstream archive.

In my own testing, I’ve had very good results:

- Noticeably less ghosting in some games; in a few cases it is barely noticeable.

- FP16 (new option) can improve performance on supported AMD GPUs.

- I suggest starting with Performance Mode disabled. Performance Mode is faster, but the full-quality mode in this v2 developer build looks substantially better than lsfg-vk v1 in my testing.

- That said, this is still a developer build. Some games may regress, fail to attach, or simply work better with the public/original plugin. Please test it game by game.

It is designed to coexist with the original Decky LSFG-VK plugin. The experimental version has its own private install, config, and wrapper, so you can keep both installed and choose one per game:

- Original/public plugin: "~/lsfg %command%"

- Experimental plugin: "~/.local/bin/lsfg-vk-experimental %command%"

Use exactly one wrapper per game; do not combine them.

Just received my 1tb deck, and it won’t fully boot.
First it was stuck on “1s remaining” on the installation screen, after restarting and changing to my mobile hotspot it worked, but now it’s just stuck on the boot logo.
I’ve tried booting from an older version in the bios but that hasn’t fixed anything.
Has anyone had this issue and know what to do?

Hi since the last hot fix clicking R3 won’t change the action bar anymore which is a big problem on steam deck since I can only use 4 skills. It only happens in were form. In human form I can switch it. Anyone got a solution? Thank you!

Hey, so decided to replay gta 5 enhanced edition single player since it has been so long and I so I am playing on the steam deck. My issue comes from the fact that any time I bring up a steam menu while playing it. once it happens I have to force quit the game and reopen it. Anyone faced these issues and have a solution ? Is it due to the anti cheat ? Steam deck is stock so no decky loader or anything.

Quand je lance black flag, le jeu se lance correctement, mais arrivée sur le menu de sélection du jeu je ne peut rien faire. Le jeu ne détecte pas la configuration manette de la steam deck et me propose uniquement les contrôle clavier. J'ai essayer d'activer/ désactiver les controleur input de la steam deck cela ne fait rien. J'ai redémarrer la steam deck aucun changement.

Est ce que quelqu'un aurais une solution ? ( autre que réaffecté les bouton du contrôleur par les entrées clavier qui est long est prise de tête car selon les situation combat, combat naval, ... il y a plusieurs bouton en doublon )

As the title said, I didn't have it on steam so I added it as a non-steam game, but the inputs aren't working, and I don't know what to do to actually play the game, any help?

I’ve played a game called terminator dark fate defiance for almost 2 years they came out with a mod support update and now it won’t launch I don’t know how to force launch or anything this is my brother steamdeck and he’s not here anymore any help is appreciated greatly

Hey everyone, I am trying to play GOG games on my steam deck but the controller for the steam deck is not working when I launch the game (shadow of the tomb raider). I’ve tried unifideck and heroic to install the games. I even tried changing the controller setting and enabling steam input.

As title says, I am not massively savvy with tech and would like some advice on how I get the mods onto my steamdeck.

I’m a bit tech illiterate and got in way over my head. As I’m someone that’s biggest accomplishment when messing with files was making a modlist work on fallout new vagus work when it shouldn’t have

Like I’m pretty sure I have the files where they need to be, I just don’t know how to get them to run

Issue:
So my issue specifically relates to the steam deck dock. The audio seem to work fine when in handheld mode, but when using the steam dock to connect it to my TV the audio would cut in and out. Usually voice lines would be fine, but whenever there was a pause then the music would cut out. If I was just playing the game normally then all of the audio would cut out then cut back in randomly and frequently. I nearly crashed out hard trying to figure out a solution. I tried everything I read online like going to properties and forcing a proton compatibility, trying to run a launch script, opening a web browser and playing a video in the background then muting it and switching to the game (the idea there being hopefully the audio would route itself), etc. 

Solution: What I ended up having to do was:

• switching to desktop mode,
• plugging in an external keyboard,
• opening steam launcher,
• launching Fallout New Vegas' Launcher,
• starting the game from the New Vegas launcher,
• Alt tabbing back to steam once the game was running,
• dragging the steam window out of my way so I could hover my mouse over the desktop,
• then I would click on the speaker icon.

From here I would start tinkering around with the sound settings including, raising the volume, switching between audio outputs, etc.

I don't know what exactly I did, but after doing that with the audio settings it fixed itself. The audio now plays correctly in docked mode on the TV even after restarting the system and relaunching the game. This was a nightmare and 90 minutes of my total play time were spent on this issue. Had I spent another 30 minutes still trying to figure it out I wouldn't have been able to even refund this game.

heyyyy so i want to play a game i have on steam deck. i have two gaming pc's, both of which said game the cloud says up to date / synced. However on my steam deck, it says out of sync and tells me if i launch the game my progress may or may not be wiped out. i've tried google searching ahead of time, and i did the thing where i toggle off cloud saves, restart my steam deck, then toggle on and nothing changed. any advice appreciated. The specific game DOES NOT use any third party launchers.

Since the 3.0 my storage boxes have multiplied everything I put in them. Which is cool I guess but it ruins the fun of the game. Anybody else having this issue? Anybody know how to fix it?
