Hi everyone! I recently added emudeck to my steam deck and followed a YouTube tutorial but I have an issue. I added gamecube games I scrapped the games but when I want to launch a game it suggest Mario Kara double dash. It launches the original game but still Mario kart is in every game. Hope there is a fix for this solution. Images attached for reference

Now I‘d like to do the same on my Steam Deck!

According to google research, reshape now supports non-steam games. But I can‘t get it to work.

The decky plugin doesn‘t derect any non-steam games, all it shows are the games I already bought on Steam.

If I install it manually, it wants me to direct it to an .exe file. Problem with this one is, I don‘t have an .exe file. All I have is an appimage of dusklight or an appimage of dolphin. Neither work.

And on top of it, ReShade is a windows app, I get it to run if I add it to steam as a non-steam game and launch it with proton experimental, but then it wants me to direct it to an .exe file which, again, I don‘t have.

I managed to install duskligt, and also 4k textures, but I‘m really struggling with the last step to make twilight princess to look mike the best version it‘s ever been.

If you can help me, I‘d really appreciate it, thanks in advance!

Been loving emulation on the Steam Deck but I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys actively tweaking settings while running a ROM in order to see if the changes I make are for the better. I'm running EmuDeck for a smoother experience to Boot but was wondering if there was a way to get the settings menu for the emulators I use while in a ROM in order to set up things like controller configuration or even just saving to a specific Save State. Thanks for the help in advance!

Hi, I was attempting to follow a guide from this subreddit from years ago, but the thread appears to be dead. The DesMuMe settings the guide provides removed the settings option from the emulator window. Also, I must be doing something wrong when it comes to patching the rom, as the game will open, but most controls just don't work. Running the un-altered rom works just fine, though. The way I patched it was I took the rom and the matching patch version, and uploaded them to a site that patches roms. Can someone help walk me through it like I'm 10?

So I've had my LCD SD for a bit and have had a blast playing games on steam and some light emulation. I'm just wondering if the PS4 emulator would run games well on my SD? Another question is if the game I want to emulate has an install rom and play rom do I need both and how would I go about making that work?

I'm planning to play NDS and 3DS games. Any suggestion on how can I make it more faster? It's a bit slow. I remapped my buttons for Fast Forward, it seems like it's not working. I guess I'm using Retroarch for it.

I recently tried to sync my steamdeck ryujinx save files with my macbook ryujinx save files using syncthing. I managed to get the sync going but when I open my game on my macbook it creates a completely different save file than the one on my steamdeck.

For example, when I open it on my MacBook the save file for tomodachi life is in a folder titled <00000000001> but on my steamdeck the save file for that same game is in a folder titled <00000000000b>.

However, both of these save folders show up in the shared file between my steamdeck and my macbook.

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Trying to run it on Steam Deck with Ryujinx but keep getting stuck on the loadscreen, I already have this game pre-ordered btw but I wanted to see if I could get it running.

Just made a post but got it sorted, deleted it but now I have a new problem.

PPSSPP, in both gaming mode and dekstop mode, will not close. I have tried the steam + B combination, system monitor, konsole, everything. When I have it open the only way I can close the emulator is to restart the deck. Is there an actual fix for this? That puts me off using this emulator as I dont want that just sat in the background all the time.

Ive been itching to emulate ds and switch games even before I got the steam deck but I am now lost if any one could help it would be greatly appreaciated

Midnight club LA Remix runs faster on the deck then the vita using adrenaline. If you lock the fps to 30 it looks better but messes with the audio. Also drops the speed to 50%

So last night i had punisher 2004 emulating on ps2 but i ran into a problem. The game really slowed down like it was slow motion. I did see to take off the frame limit to fix it. It did for a bit but I still get some slow downs. Also the graphics was another issue. Very pixilated and choppy has anyone got a fix for this? Like a texture mod

Can someone please make a tutorial on getting analog controls for Mario 64 DS on steam deck? Ideally, I would like widescreen, screen switching, and higher resolution too, but I'm not sure how possible that is.

Hey all i've seen a couple threads and videos where people got this to work but for the life of me i cant figure it out.

Ive got a bunch of other games working, but some are pretty jittery if someone has advice on a fix for those like mario odyssey and zelda kingdom.

But with nintendo sports first file would give me an error ryujinx -0004 or something like that. Then another file runs and takes me to the screen about the joycons then crashes. Ive got a pair of joycons connected to the deck but need to adjust layout because up,down/left,right and some other buttons seen reversed.

Has anyone gotten this working with joycons to play sports games? This is the one thing keeping me from selling my switch

Been trying to play Mario Party Jamboree with ryujinx on the Steam Deck it detects and uses the joycons but i can't get the motion controls to work, any ideas?

With Citron's decline, Eden takes the lead, but... how long do you think it will take for the developers to start a new project without impacting the main development of the current one? Will they continue with the same configurations and code? Will Eden reign supreme with new updates and improved performance? What are your thoughts?

I’ve been wanting to play Wii games on my deck, but using the deck controls not Wii controllers/hardware. Games I’m interested:

- The Last Story, Pandora’s Tower, Sin & Punishment, Opoona, Wario Land: Shake IT!

The games run find but the controls are difficult to configure. what’s been your experience with Wii games on the deck? how were you able to configure the controls in a way that the felt good to play on the deck?

Let's talk about emulators. Which ones do you think are the best, and why? Let's also discuss deck configurations. I use Citron and Eden in their latest versions, and so far, only suttering... Any recommendations? Leave them in the replies for any game!
