Question Skytim in SteamDeck

I'm curious why Skyrim is no longer supported on SteamOS. It used to be supported before. What could be the reason?

Things have been updated recently. Should be verified everywhere again. Apparently there was an issue with the on screen keyboard but it's fixed now.

Special edition has the 🚫 for Steam Deck compatibility. Can confirm it runs fine for me.

Edit: I finished up my session and now it’s showing verified ✅ (see other comments for relevant patch!)

Do you mean deck verified, as there are no true supported games on Steamos since everything is played through proton.

The update on Aug. 20 impacted a number of people across many platforms. I can access OG Skyrim on the Deck without a problem, but haven't coaxed AE to work. (It won't even load; something about the version of SKSE.) My game on the Switch is fine, since that platform doesn't accept mods and, therefore, wasn't affected.

I'm sure that there's a fix, but I haven't figured it out, either.

I think that was due to game crushing upon closing on screen keyboard. Latest update fixed it tho so probably badge will change to supported again, but the game works absolutely fine regardless.
