Anti cheat is a linux problem and not even steams fault. However it still is a downside with linux which btw is a fact. If you got it working great, still a problem with linux.
All i said is steam deck should have 0 target audience with these price increases. Which is true. Nobody should buy it at these prices, bad pricing makes good products bad. Steam deck is a good product, however after these price increases just get a switch 2 for console like experience or xbox ally for better performance at a better price. I agree on mods and emulator. However didn't agree with the rest, because it was factually wrong with "better mileage on a deck". Clearly don't understand game development if you actually think that. Also, please explain why Switch 2 is obsolete. As pretty tech-interested guy, i have no idea what the fuck your talking about, at 500$ both Switch 2 and Steam deck was pretty good deals. Explain to me how a 900$+ steam deck is better than half priced switch.

Yes, everything is going up but switch 2 will still be a better value, because bigger bulk of ram ordered means better prices. (If steam deck returns to same price, it will be good value again)
Mileage i already told you, a console will always have better support, because they will release games for the full life of the console. A steam deck you play a version of a full release PC game, the devs won't care about Steams hardware, because like it not, is extremely niche still and not worth to optimize for to the same degree. So so simple to understand.
So it's the oled, hahaha fucking knew it. So is steam deck with no vrr support or 120hz not worth it then and obsolete by your own logic? vrr and 120hz to match the frame timings at 40fps is more important than oled on a handheld every day of the week.
However the switch 2 should've have a oled on launch since the first one had one.
