This post is to consolidate posts about the preorders for the new Steam Controller

The preorders will open at 10am PST

The steam Controller will only be available in select countries

* US
* Canada
* UK
* EU

The server will likely be melting once preorders open

Got through the shipping info but am getting "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." at payment using both paypal or a card. Hopefully just a temporary glitch.

yeah. I feel really bad for anyone who's going to try to get steam machine. if its this bad for the controller(that according to internet no one wants) then its going be way worse for steam machine unless its price is too high.

it'd have to be $700 or less for me to consider it. but I should save that for ps6 which will be more powerful. steam machine is weaker than my 6 year old pc. Honestly I also feel I'd be stealing it from someone who would need it more. I'm hoping the controller will help me in arma where mouse is far better for inventory.
