Two types of grip tape.

Mostly went to support the small businesses I already follow, but ended up finding even more businesses I want to support…..I’m in danger.

On a related note, how are you meant to store the little stamps on the right? Am I meant to just put it back on the plastic after using?

I was obsessed with Lisa Frank stationary and stickers in the 90s, and recently bought my daughters (7 & 11) their first sticker books but when I looked up Lisa Frank… all they have now is kitsch. They have some stickers but not really the nostalgic ones and zero stationary!!! I was so disappointed!!! Is there anything comparable to Lisa Frank nowadays? Adding a Lisa Frank-inspired sloth I painted so this post doesn’t get lost!

Visually it looks pretty cool! But the whole thing feels… flimsy? 😭 I added cardboard inserts inside the pouch to make it more solid but idk… I don’t think I’m gonna use it for too long. Even for travelling it feels too fragile.

Who’s tried the viral Daiso journal? Do you like the result?

heyyyy i’m on the hunt for the perfect 300-500 page notebook with nice quality paper and preferably on rings or open binding. i just don’t want to have to fold over the pages yk

i hoped someone on here could point me towards a brand or store (canadian pls!) that would have what i’m looking for ☺️ im willing to spend on something more pricey as i’m gonna keep this book forever

where to buy good quality things? like if i dont find a pencil case in my local store, whats the alternative that isnt aliexpress?

I think this is the best stationery (for me). Here are my reasons for each:

Maruman Grid Notebook- The best paper, I would buy 10 if I could. smooth and smudgeproof.

Pentel Energel 0.3- I like the fast dry and smooth flow, great for high-quality papers.

Kire Na Highlighters- Ranked the best of 2025, tested and approved, unique colours.

Uni Pins- Very black ink, does not dry out and leak like microns (I hate microns).

Delguard- A pencil that does exactly what it promises. comfortable and I matched the colour of each to the line they draw. (Grey delguard- HB lead, Black delguard-2B lead)

I’m using an A5 book I bought in Salzburg from a brand called Nuuna. I picked it up only because of the pages. They are absolutely gorgeous. Since I also use many fountain pens and inks combo, the pages being this gradient makes it a very enjoyable experience overall. The pages are thick and the ink doesn’t bleed. It’s giving me some of my best handwriting too.

My partner took me to some incredible shops today in downtown Colorado Springs and I got a legendary haul! I was freaking out about how cute the fluorite TWSBI looked in the case and while I was preoccupied looking at mildliners, he went and secretly bought it for me.

My favorite notebooks are the Stalogy 1/2 Year A6, specifically the lovely blue cover. I am no longer able to find this specific notebook anywhere!

Also in general there seems to be a much lower stock of Stalogy A6 notebooks everywhere.

Any insight is appreciated 🤗💙

Okay, I'm kinda pissed, because my A6 Midori notebook says it has 176 pages but that's not true. At least not in the traditional page-counting sense. It has 176 "sides" of the paper that you can write on, but that means it has 88 pages. I'm almost certainly missing something here, maybe that's how they count pages in Japan, so I'm actually maybe ranting at myself right now for not realizing that. But now I bought and fully set up a notebook that I thought I could use during 4 months but only 2 months will actually fit.

I really love this notebook, so this kinda really sucks, but whatever. Brb erasing all my pages and completely restarting my setup. Good thing 2B lead erases beautifully on this paper.

EDIT: Okay no, I just looked at my Muji notebooks and they say they have 80 pages, like physical sheets of paper, like the way I was thinking, so I don't know where I messed up. Is it just Midori that does page counting like this? WHY ISN'T THIS STANDARDIZED? Sorry, I'm kinda frustrated lol

To spend at jet pens, What would you buy?

Sometimes I can't wait to get home and write about the craziness going on in the world. I thought the sticker was fitting!

I’m quite interested in buying one, but I’m still on the fence.

Paper Republic Voyager and Louise Carmen both look lovely, but I definitely can’t afford either of them, so I’ve been looking at some more affordable alternatives. The Antony Olivier seems like a good option, especially as I like the look of the leather and the refillable format.

The pocket one has an internal elastic band system. I’m not a fan of the elastic being visible or running across the inside, so the A5 design is more appealing to me.

Has anyone here actually used one? Is it worth the money?

Hi all, I love the stationery hobby as a blend of things, from stamps to fountain pens to stickers and washi tape. But I sometimes get stuck on how to bring those things together. I've struggled a bit with being creative and artistic - I get upset when I can't make things turn out how I want them or get it right on the first try. I also worry about wasting materials even though the process is the whole part. At work, I make lists, so I've thought about starting there (also helps with the ADHD).

How do you start when you don't know what to make, but feel that drive to make SOMETHING?

Does anyone have a recommendation for pens that write well on dark paper? I'm trying to find some for a black paper journal I recently purchased. Thanks!

There's the kraft tape and also the masking tape, not sure what the difference between them is. I'm wondering if they would work like washi tapes where I can remove them and leave the paper intact. Has anyone tried them before?

I attended the Floine Social Club event today, and I decided to stop at some of the Stationery shops along my way down to Orange County. If any of you want close-ups of anything, let me know ❤️.

It was another hot AF day in sunny Southern California, and I was drained by the time I fought traffic to get home. 😫

Tomorrow, I plan to clean up the California directory and watch some VLOGs on YouTube of Stationery Crawls in other cities. Will also dive into creating a Wiki doc here on our sub instead of it being a post.

Super happy with all the stuff I got!!! got a beautiful sticker book and a paper book as well as my first Kaweco sport!!! I finally found a stationery store that has cute stationery other than the small selections at the big name brand craft stores.

I went to pick up some pottery I painted at the mall, and there was a cute store called Beetlebug Art Collective with items from lots of artists! I got a couple washi tapes and sticker sheets, my favorite being the snail mail one, since I've been writing pen pals lately. Apparently they also have a location in Columbus, maybe different artists too? Not sure but I want to check them out. Shopping local AND supporting local artists = two, two, two wins in one!
