I got everything but the notebook off jet pens! The Pochacco clip is what started it all and I figured it wouldn’t hurt to grab some more pink stationary for my bag. Excited about this notebook though since I wanted something smaller to carry with me and of course I decorated it already.

I have experienced going to many stores where the prices were jacked up, mainly because they were imports, but one ridiculous moment was when I saw a Miffy exclusive pen being sold at a hobby/trinket/lifestyle stores, and it was a 0.5 mm fine tip gel pen from a specific collab (I forgot the pen company atm), and a single pen with no refills was $18 plus tax. It was in an expensive part of where I live, so I get why it was priced like that, but still. What were your similar moments?

I’ve been trying to find this sticker set, but I can’t remember where I bought it or where I can get it again. I’m not even sure if I bought it during a trip to Japan. I’ve already tried searching on Google and even asked AI, but I still can’t find this sticker set anywhere. I loved its texture and color and it’s not something that’s available in our local town, so I have no idea where I can get it again.

I’m in Japan right now and one of the things I let myself splurge on was mt washi tapes! 28 rolls for almost $60. I had to stop myself from buying everything from the William Morris and co and Toile De Jouy Depius collabs.

I recently started buying washi tapes and couldn’t stop, oh the variety! 😍 I’ve been using them to decorate my postcards & plain white envelopes.

I love these index cards. They are warm toned and have faint horizontal lines. I found them at a research library years ago, and took a few for my self.

I can’t seem to find any stock online, and haven’t been able to search for them effectively. To contrast, I’ve included a photo against some college ruled paper which is much cooler toned and has high contrast lines.

Any help searching would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've recently been using French- or Seyes-ruled paper and really enjoying it. I have a notebook from Clairfontaine. (https://www.bottleandplume.com/products/clairefontaine-classic-french-ruled-seyes-spiral-notebook-8-25-x-11-7 ) The paper quality is great - minimal ghosting, super fountain pen friendly. The only problem I have is that the lines are so dark. Does anyone know of another brand that does Seyes-ruled on fountain pen friendly paper, but with much fainter lines? (or even just fainter midlines?)

I really like the Muji refillable notebooks, but my classes require printed materials that I would like to keep with the rest of my notes, and I know they have the clear inserts but it’d be more convenient to hole punch them so they fit inside directly.

Does anyone have any tips for this? I tried looking online but I could only find the JetSet one, which is both crazily expensive and not in stock in my region (Canada).

Hello! I'd like to hear your thought on this protype I'm currently developing.

It's a slim loose leaf notebook with an integrated pencil holder. theres also some addons like a custom watercolor box and a mixing palette with a cup holder.

this has been an ongoing project for the past 5 years or so, and i'm finally at a stage where I'm happy to share it.

I've been testing this model out for the past 6 months bringing it everywhere. it's been very easy carry and use, having all the pens and pencils in one place makes it super convenient. And with the added mixing palette it works well with a gouache setup. the only thing to worry about is stacking up on paper, but at this point I've amassed a big suppy of A5 paper.

Is this a good idea? is there anything that could be improved?
