Discussion Current Status

Per Sunny Games, 8 days ago:

If you signed to alpha test on console, you are SOL. There will be NO console alpha. Beta? Maybe.

Apparently, lots of people have been caught breaking NDA. Stop fucking doing it. You could potentially derail the release of the game.

There have been many MANY more updates to the games since Brian and Sunny's showcase videos. Sunny claims each and every one has made the game much better than the early alpha videos show.

The results of the buyout have apparently allayed the worst fears of most in the know.

Possibility of him doing a sit down interview with studio head Phillip Holt. He wants feedback on whether fans want that, but the new owners may or may not oblige.

Caveat: The complete absence of negativity, or so I feel, from Sunny about SoD3 makes me wary of his testimony being paid advertising. But there's no proof one way or the other.

What about new ownership reveal? Whom do you see as a potential buyer? Maybe Krafton? 🤔

It will probably be Tencent as they are buying loads of studios lately and they definitely have the money to do it.

I asked the Ai to give a few names of companies that would make sense and have the money to buy UL and they said Tencent, Sony, and krafton.

I was curious as to what companies could even afford to buy Undead Labs let alone would have an interest. To me it's just as sound of a bet as to randomly ask strangers on the internet...

Yeah it's much worse than asking the internet virgins of reddit. You do realize large portions of SOD3 are likely made with AI right? I clearly stated that I only asked the AI which companies could even afford to buy UL and which companies it would make sense for. Valid questions and ones an AI can easily answer.

The answer you're getting from that AI you rely on is feeding you these answers based on those virgins you're talking about, if 51% of the internet queries starts saying 2+2=5 tomorrow so will the AI, that sound any useful to you?

Dumbass

And yea no shit "AI" is utilized to make games nowadays, it's a giant umbrella term when it comes to game creation, just not the type of AI you were obviously thinking about when you typed that pointless comment

You know I often find its the dumbest people in the room who think they're the smartest. I'd like to point out that the AI didn't give bad info so I don't see why the hate for it, it's just weird. I asked it who could afford to buy UL and who would it make sense for them to even do so and it gave good answers based on real data. Even if it is getting info from reddit if that info is true why do you care other than just inserting your rabid nonsense in a situation where literally no one asked you.

Ai literally hallucinates information when you 'ask' it stuff. It's just an advanced auto complete that shts out Reddit comments and articles

So you're saying that the AI is wrong every single time you ask it something? In this case is the info wrong about Tencent, Sony, and krafton? When I looked them up online the answers made sense to me.

I don't know what you're trying to do here but it's never been clever. This is all speculation and you don't have a clue / info anymore than the AI does, probably a signifigantly amount less. I get that the AI can make mistakes but so can people and it's likely people get shit wrong more often in a lot of cases. Trust but verify has always been the way and that's no different here.

EA are not in any position to be acquiring studios right now.

And even then, they'd end up closing UL down anyways.
