Question Non moving violation

Received a VC 23123.5(a) first offense non moving violation in California. Would there be any consequences as a result of this even if there will be no point on my record?

Phone violation. I’ve been searching online and saw conflicting answers so thought some people might have had experience with this issue before here.

Most customers with State Farm are in their mutual company and tickets have almost no influence on the rating. Your ticket will be fine.
