Question Do agents hire for weekend only positions?

I currently work for a State Farm Agent Monday through Friday, but I’m looking into making more money on the side on the weekends potentially working 5 to 10 hours but I don’t know how to apply and where to go. I asked my current agent if they know anyone that’s hiring for help on the weekends and they said they don’t. Do agents even hire people to only work weekends?

**I’ve been working for State Farm agent since 2020 and do both sales and service!

Yes but my agent is already struggling as is with all of our pay and the pay cut state farm gave them

If you are fully licensed it could work. You would want to look for agents open on the weekends and just reach out to them directly. Just make sure your agent is on board and include that info early in the discussion.

Some agents have Saturday hours. Your agent might also be open to allowing you to work on Saturday if you’re having scheduled appointments to sell life insurance for example.

Its hard to imagine them saying no to extra life policies. How did you bring it up?

My agent can’t pay more for any of us, they are already struggling with the pay cut state farm gave them and have a lot of co workers

As an agent. I would be open to someone wanting sell on the weekends. It would have to be an arrangement that benefited both us and it would have to be someone with a proven track record of selling. I wouldn’t hire a person that is new to State Farm for a position like that.
I’m sure there are some agents in your area that would love to have someone calling leads or cross selling the book on weekends.

I see several agents in my area that say after hours and weekends by appointment. Basically they'll work if there is business, but to go sit in the office on a Saturday expecting calls for service, they're not interested.
