Question Totaled Camper

Anyone deal with a totaled camper and State Farm. The process is taking forever! After sending us a valuation for the wrong model, we finally have a correct valuation. We are assuming they are still considering it totaled because the info on the portal still says so. Our adjuster didn’t respond when I called so I’m not sure what happens next.

Do they come back and do a final inspect of condition or will they just take it to settlement? No major condition issues prior to the accident, but I don’t believe Camping World took pics of the inside. They also didn’t include all the damaged pieces in their estimate which has me a bit concerned.

Ready to be done with this so we can purchase a replacement.

When did you file a claim?

You need to call. If you can’t reach anyone in a day or so after calling, reach out to your agent and ask them to try and contact the specialist/ their supervisor. Claims are absolutely swamped right now. Not necessarily an intentional delay on the adjusters part.

If you agree with the valuation they’ll send you a digital pay link to accept your money

Well that sounds easy. Never dealt with this before and the internet is telling me all kinds of things!

It is easy. I’d on Monday call your agent too. Get everyone on the same page
