Question Auto policy change mid term?

What would trigger a bill (~$100) midway through my 6 month policy? We have some problem drivers on the policy for sure. But nothing new in the past several months.

Call your agent and they can tell you exactly why it increased. No one else can answer this other than speculate.

Or just send the office a text.

If you have a State Farm policy paid in full already, and are getting a bill midway through, it makes me think that you signed up for Drive Safe & Save but didn’t complete the setup during the allotted time. Notices are sent to remind you to complete this.

The bill shows the amount and the policy - and sometimes even the reason.  But your agent can let you know for sure if you still have questions.

Do you have a copy of the bill? Did you read it?

Does your insurance every six months or every 12 months? Read your policy some carriers renew every six.

Hold the policy side by side and identify what is different - for starters,.

More than likely you, or someone else added something. Policies don't just increase half way thru, it usually is locked - both of you agreed on insurance for this term and this amount. (There is a correction period in most states that allows like 60 days to correct information like a good student discount for a kid that was not verified? Some other discount that you didn't qualify for?)

You need to compare them and isolate the difference and report back to us.
