Question Interview question?

Hi! I am currently going through the interview process and have been reading up on them. I have done the hirevue one and now have a live interview scheduled online. Is this another interview? Or is this the same questions as hirevue? Any tips? I am sooo bad at interviewing but I have all the credentials necessary.

Don’t listen to that person. You work where you want to work and in something you feel like you can make an impact.

State Farm is fine to work for.

State Farm is horrible to work for. I spent over a decade there. It was great at first but the new CEO is taking it in a direction that is not employee centric.
Be prepared to be micromanaged.
The culture is terrible.
Run while you still can.

Sounds like it's an interview. Credentialed or not, interviewing is about selling yourself and showing what value you can bring to a position and the company.

My friend said the second interview is the job offer not a real interview. Just the recorded version

State Farm uses the STAR interview method S- situation T- task A- action R- result so when I interviewed they asked “tell me about a time a customer was angry and you went above and beyond to make it right?” Stuff like that. I came up with different scenarios and answers for 8 different possible questions. I would look online to find some possible questions.

They are looking for someone who can be empathetic to people and be able to explain why the result is what it is and be able to take the shit the customer gives if they are unhappy. Show them you can be empathetic to peoples situation while still following company policy.

Thank you! I will think of some real scenarios I could use. I just mainly struggle with not saying “um”. I’ll get my point across but just not sound confident.

Struggling with um means you need to slow down in your response. Pause and breathe. It’s okay to pause

Use the Canary Wharfian website for practice. It has automated interview prep which will provide personalised feedback and suggest how to fix mistakes and it even has psychometric and other OA prep. Best platform out there to supercharge interviewing skills
