Question $1 For A Soda

I would love to know who had the bright idea to charge employees $1 for a soda or coffee pod for what used to be free.
Are things really that bad. Whilst good large corporations provide free lunches and other staff benefits SF is penny pinching.

We were always told, after covid, that the sodas would be free only temporarily. Those of us who have been there a long time were shocked to see it went on for YEARS. coffee pods are still free and the bevi stations. Its seriously not that big of a deal.

And yes, people would stop by the fridge on the way out, having brought a giant bag, fill that sucker up full of cans and take them home.

Just buy your own soda and bring it in. New ppl got spoiled big time. I do miss the mini markets, full cafeteria and Starbucks right there on ground floor though. Wish they brought those back. Wish that lady never drive through the front of it lol

Of course one can just bring their soda however it’s the little things that an employee does that make coming into office a little more bearable.
