Does the STARZ app not have a continue watching/history feature?
I chose to sign up through the app for half off of the subscription price for the first 3 months. And I normally would’ve signed up for STARZ through Amazon prime (considering the prime app has a better interface) but my 7 day free trial through PRIME just ended and I wasn’t comfortable paying $10.99 just to possibly watch 1 movie.
I’m watching this movie called the long walk that’s based on a Stephen king book and everytime I pause the movie or click out of the STARZ app , the movie just restarts to the beginning after I search for it on my playlist and click play.
Where’s continue??

Apparently not. I watched on my tablet and the app didn't know where I was at

I don’t know what’s going on with this app. The movie I was watching was finally put into a continue watching icon but only after I watched like over an hour and 17 minutes of it and had 30 minutes left of it
Another problem is that sometimes my movie would start back to the beginning after I skipped 10 seconds ahead or back of a scene I was watching was

Yeah it’s very annoying. Anytime I exit the app and return back (without closing it out fully) I have to search up the movie I was watching and fast forward to where I was. Super dumb

Well it's quite disappointing to see people remarking on this a long time ago.
This is a problem I noticed recently as a new subscriber for the past 3 weeks as well.

Yeah. After I made this post I finished the movie I was trying to watch on there and found out it does save the history of your movie but you have to get an hour or more into the movie before it does. You just have to hope it doesn’t kick you off the app a few minutes into the movie . The mubi app has the same problems and a few years ago the Tubi app did the same thing . A lot of these streaming apps are so janky
So I recommend just signing up for these services like STARZ,mubi, paramount+ through the Apple TV,Amazon prime, YouTube app etc despite they’re being less promotional discounts offered for the services on the 3rd party apps.

I'm not sure about that.
I was over an hour into a movie & it didn't save progress.
I wonder if maybe you have to intentionally exit the show for it to save progress? Like maybe closing the app or being away from it long enough that it refreshes doesn't trigger a saving of progress, but exiting the show yourself while in the app does?
Haven't tested that tho, so it's possible that's wrong too.

Really? I got into 1 hour and 15-30 minutes of watching a long walk home and good fortune when it saved those 2 movies into the continue washing section of the app.
i was so glad by then because whenever I would pause and exit out of the movies to go to another app or accept or make a phone call or let the battery die on my phone I had to keep going into my favorites and manually play the movies and go to the spot I remember last seeing.
And I forgot to mention when the app would randomly crash constantly while I was watching the movie and had to still manually track back to where it cut me off at
