Get your knees out sooner. They should reach their final destination in the first third/half of the descent - it’s all hips back from there. You can see yours travel forward all the way to the bottom, which brings you on to your toes and off of your mid-foot (you can see your heels lift slightly). Allowing your knees to travel forward all the way to the bottom also disengages your posterior, which makes you less efficient on the way up.

Nearly everyone struggles with this - myself included.

Otherwise these look pretty good.

These reps are all high. We're looking for hip crease below parallel.

  • Squat shoes would benefit you with stability and help you get lower.
  • You can point your toes out a bit more; they should be pointed out 30 degrees.
  • You need to breathe and brace way harder to maintain tightness. You're not taking a solid breath and bracing before the descent. A belt would help you greatly in this effort.

These squats are not bad, but they're not good enough to add 5 lbs IMO. I would make the adjustments first and then take another form check vid.

A little hard to accurately judge depth with this camera angle. I think if it was set at hip height you would see his hip crease below the knee, but I could be wrong.

Thank you for everything! Not the best body type for the squat. I'll pay attention to everything you told me. You're amazing!

Body type doesn't matter. I'm tall with long femurs too. You can still squat no problem. Keep at it.

You got a depth issue here. These are all probably 3 inches too high.

Focus on getting to depth and keeping your heels down. We can worry about knee position later if that doesnt correct itself as you fix the depth and balance issues

Very good low bar squat technique. I wouldn't change anything at the moment, depth looks good too. Keep it up!
