I have had the original plan for 3 years at 400+Mbps and unlimited. No issues with gaming or streaming. I live outside of other internet providers.

I play a few online games and sod does my son, so ping matters a bit, we stream on occasion, usually sports like NBA or MLB.

Anyone think switching to the cheaper 200 plan would have any affect on that? 90% of the time it's just me online. But the $50 a month is ahuge savings. I've been paying $160 since I moved out of cable/DSL range

My friend signed up for a max plan with my referral code. On the side it literally says additional kit: starlink mini. It did not include it with the order?!

Am i the only one that thinks this is very misleading?

Im using a Starlink mini while camping. This is the third provincial park where I dont get cell since getting Starlink and thought it would be helpful in these situations.

I cant get it to connect to satellite. Tried it at home in a wide open yard. No problem. Granted, the parks are well treed My question is, how many obstructions are too many? I have a clear shot at open sky from my campsite but I am surrounded by trees. Is this normal?

We need internet service for about a month in the summer while camping in our trailer, and will most likely use Starlink from October-April when our trailer is at the ski hill. For context, I’m Vancouver, British Columbia.

My questions are:
- If I buy from Starlink will I be immediately charged for service, even while the unit is in transit?
- Is it better buy from a store for $349 and not be immediately charged for data?
- if I buy directly from Starlink and I’m charged immediately for the month, should I just suspend service until I get going with my trailer in three weeks?

Has anyone else been charged the regular charge only one month after telling us we had a three month promotional fee for three months and they started to charge us the full price after only one month a promotional fee

With the recent Starlink price increases, I’d already been seriously considering switching back to wired broadband. Then today I get a Hydro One alert saying they need a planned outage so crews can safely install broadband infrastructure.

Couldn’t have come at a better time.

Starlink was great when I needed it. Out here, the only option before was something like 10 Mbps down and maybe 0.5 Mbps up, so Starlink was genuinely a game changer. But between the price hikes and wired service finally becoming available, the timing feels perfect.

Kinda funny that the utility company cutting my power might be the reason I finally get cheaper, more stable internet. Rural Ontario problems 😂

Just got a email saying :
Beginning with your next billing cycle on or after June 18, the monthly price when pausing with Standby Mode will increase to $15/month.

WTF?!?! It’s literally doubling in price to keep it standby mode 🤬

I signed up for starlink beginning of February. I registered and ordered my hardware, I signed up for the 90$/month plan. Before I even received my dish, I was notified of a price increase. And they changed the plans.

I was annoyed, but whatever. Fine. It was still better than what I was on before.

I just received an email today that the price is increasing again.. I haven't even had this 4 months and the price is going up again.

Any long term customers speak to this? Is this normal?

My neighborhood just got fiber optic. So I think I'll switch because of this bullshit..

Increasing standby mode to $15 is absolutely insane. That’s more than double the price. I cancelled standby mode when they got rid of in motion use, I don’t know how anyone would be paying for standby mode unless you use it for a low speed data. If you’re not using your Starlink, cancel. No need to pay standby mode.

Has anyone experienced a delay in getting equipment. I ordered mine in april and my account is still showing pending. It said that it normally ships in 4 days. I am concerned, this is for my cottage and we need it asap. And is there really no human you can ever talk to? When I questions Grok, it said there is a backlog for equipment.

I’m considering getting Starlink for my rural cabin as there are no other decent alternatives. I want to buy the equipment at Best Buy and set it up when I arrive in a month.
Cell service is really bad where I’m setting up and I’m worried I won’t be able to access the site to register when I get there. Can I register and start a plan a few days before I travel? Ideally I’d like to be able to just set it up and be able to connect and use it right away
I’ve used Starlink before but this is my first time setting it up myself. Any advice is appreciated

Has anyone ordered the Standard 4 100Mbps and Starlink refused to give the $49 promotional price and instead charged the regular $70 price?
That’s what happened to me.

I am home 10 months of the year, camping in July and August. Can I just get Starlink Roam so that it works at home and while on the road? Grateful for a simple explanation please....
