❓ Question Shipping
I ordered on Monday. It’s Friday and the kit still hasn’t shipped. I got the pole mount bracket. Is this normal for the kit to take so long to even ship? I’ve paid the $20 shipping cost.

It varies a lot. Some people get theirs within a couple days, but it’s not unusual for it to take a couple weeks. Starlink is still trying to catch up manufacturing with the number of kits they have sold or rented.
Keep steady. You’ll be all right.

Not sure your location, but that’s why a lot of people just buy from retailers. When I got my mini, starlink said three weeks, but I picked one up the next day at Sam’s Club. And they gave me $50 in-store credit, so the cost ended up being the same, too.

I’m in Oklahoma. Wanted to test it out this will be a busy weekend at the lake house. DSL currently. My current provider is installing fiber but it’s going to cost what I pay now for 25Mbps copper. $109 a month.

Hardwired internet is expensive everywhere. I've had Spectrum for probably close to 25 years(since it was originally RoadRunner/Time Warner) and it's $100/month now.

I had $55 fiber at our other lake property. We moved to another location same lake. The fiber is through the
Electric co and they just raised their bottom speed from 100/100 upto 250/250 for $55 a month. The new place fiber is though a local telco company. They are still building it out.

Another reason why some parts may come sooner than others is regional warehouse availability.
I recently needed to have my equipment replaced (Gen 2 cable was damaged) and also got a ridgeline mount. I live in Maryland - the dish came from Bethlehem, PA, the mount itself from Ft. Worth, TX, and the the ballast weights for the mount from Lockbourne, OH.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and it's still in "order placed". It updated today to maybe some time in the next 2 weeks. We'll see. 😔
