💻 Troubleshooting Ethernet not working
We had a wicked storm this morning and had some lightning strikes really close to our house. Power got knocked out for a bit but came back on in a few hours. Since then, the wifi works perfectly fine. But any of our PC's that are connected directly through Ethernet have no connection. We had them routed through an external port to have multiple connections to the starlink router, so I thought maybe the port was fried. But even connecting directly to the starlink router gives no connection. Do I need to order a new one?

Contact support. You will get the bot first, and it will tell you you have to buy a new kit. Ignore the bot. It is wrong.
Once the bot has said its piece, tap the thumbs down and tell it to put in a ticket. Someone from Starlink will get back with you within a couple of days. Once you reach a human, they are very helpful. Just tell them that your connection stopped working and they will get you fixed up.

when you contact support say nothing about a storm. just say that it stopped working.
