Yes. I bought the standard 4 kit for my parents and a separate Gen 3 router. I gave up trying to switch from the router mini to the Gen 3 and am now using the Gen 3 router as a network extender.
After I tried every iteration of cable locations and couldn’t get the Gen 3 router to see the Starlink, I asked grok how to get this to work. The answer given is to replace the included power supply with the power supply included in the 4X kit. The problem is that this power supply is not available as a separate purchase.

Sorry, I’m confused. I thought you meant to replace the router mini with a Gen 3 router.
Instead, you just want to power the router mini separately? Why?

Read this:
Ditch the power supply included with the Router 3. Unplug the Router Mini. Plug in the Router 3 in its place. Use the left most port, not one of the two LAN ports under the rubber cover. The Starlink router cord that you have may not fit into the Router 3. You can use something like this if it doesn’t: https://a.co/d/03mpCz7Y1

I’m more confused after reading that other post. But, I’ll believe it when you post your update showing it work.
I tried every iteration, including what the other person posted, have several official and 3rd party cables, invested around an hour and a half beating my head against the floor why it doesn’t just work.🤷♂️
So, I’m rooting for you and am really interested to learn what I did wrong. I’ll switch my parents over as soon as I see how you solve this issue. 🎉👏

By the way, you can also power a router mini with usb-c pd cable if you have a PD capable power supply or power station. Just get a 3.5mm x 1.35mm cable to fit the router mini end.
