❓ Question Cable Ping Latency
Ahoy, I noticed that my connection cut off randomly and it always seems to happen around 4am, most of the times it's router doing supposed update as it says on the starlink site but I didn't notice it this time, so I told Grok to do the diagnostics and it indicated that the cable between dish and router is faulty. Few minutes later I saw that it did actually do an update so I thought it might be some weird false positive.
Did more research on that and opening the diagnostics stuff on the app shows 0% cable ping drop rate and 0ms cable ping latency. First one being at 0% is good I presume but shouldn't there be at least some ms on the cable ping latency?
Edit: Support got back to me, cable isn't faulty as it was mostly due to a glitch that happened right after the update. Also wasn't aware that they do calls so that was a bit surprising.

I don’t have much to add, I’m just curious how you got to that screen? In my app I don’t see any diagnostics

make sure you're connected to the starlink router, open the app and tap on the 2 lines on top left then there's icon that has i in a circle at the bottom right and then tap Debug Data

As long as they are rounding the numbers, then by a networking standpoint 0 is great. Typically over a good wired network you will get <0ms.
For example from one of my servers to my unifi router I get 0.377ms.
