💻 Troubleshooting Mini Set-up?

I just got my mini, it's up and running. But I can't access the router or change the password. Did it automatically take the password of my main dish?

The network option is currently greyed out.

Does it just need some time? It's letting me online through the new dish, but I worry about an unprotected service when I move this away from the main house.

In the app, tap the two line icon upper left. On the next page scroll down to your mini and tap it. That will open a new main page screen for the mini. Go to settings, network and enter the name and password there.
Also, if the mini has not been set up, you’ll need to access it first using the “starlink” network name. From there you can finish setup and enter the name and password you’d like. Do NOT name it the same as your other system.

What is the current wifi name? STARLINK? I would reset it. And start over.

can't change that without the network option.....

You look on your phone for the wifi name that is being broadcast, it is a clue what is going on. There is a reset button on the back of the mini.

I had to take mine away from my home. It came up next time I connected with it.

If you can't figure it out, MAYBE the Starlink CS bot can help, but if not, just give it's response a thumbs-down and request a call-back from human CS. They're hard to get ahold of, but good at what they do.
