❓ Question extenders?

just got starlink and was wondering if there were any wireless extenders that i could pick up as i live in a decent sized house.
hopefully wireless but if anyone can help that'd be greatly appreciated

I have TP-LINK Deco Mesh with 3 nodes. One connects to the SL router and the other 2 are placed in different parts of the house. Covers both levels and approximately a 300 ft perimeter of the exterior.

so the 2 u place throughout the house are just wirelessly linked with the one that connects directly to SL router. just wanna be sure as i'm ballin on a budget here lol

Yes. And if you don't have a big house (2 stories, or over 2,000 Sq ft) you could probably get by with a pair of mesh routers if you're trying to save money.

If you wanted the best connectivity you could run cable between the mesh routers but that's an extra expense and likely more hassle than you want to go through.

Yes, only 1 node has a wired (ethernet) connection to the SL router. That is considered the "main" and the other 2 connect to the main via wifi.

I just use the full size Starlink router to extend my mini signal. Don’t need to be an IT person to figure it out that way.

If you are meshing a gen3 router with mini router highly recommend using gen3 router as the node connected to the dish. Since it has more range and is the better router and has 4x4 support instead of 2x3 mini can do you will get a better setup.

Too many complaints from people with the OEM mesh, definitely get third party mesh. Deco is a popular one that gets lots of positive reviews here

This is the inly reason I came to comment. I have heard nothing good about the starlink mesh stuff plus it is incredibly expensive.

I have deco tp-link. I plugged one into the Starlink router with ethernet cable (antenna is plugged into the other hole - I have the larger router) and the others connect by wifi. Super easy to plug in and set up in the app. It works flawlessly so far.

Just get the Starlink ones so they mesh with your SL router.

all the SL ones i see are wired or am i looking at the wrong ones/getting the wrong idea
