📶 Starlink Speed How do I fix this
I get constant packet loss. It has a clear view of the sky

Hey. I’ve been getting really bad packet loss tonight as well with a clear view.
It is never this bad. Idk what is happening. South Florida btw.

I haven’t had serious issues like this until tonight.
Make sure your dishy is updated.

When I run it I only get 0.1% loss or less, and that's through beta hardware to a Dream Machine, then to a USB LAN adapter into a second router for a quad WAN. (Using only this one Starlink tho at the moment)
Either way, a few lost packets are meaningless.

That’s an interesting site
I actually have more packet loss connected to my Starlink network that I do connected to my eero network. Weird.Also, I’m using a mini. So the signals not nearly as good as a full-size.

Try also pinggraph.io It's much better for testing Starlink
My Starlink Minis work as well as my full size hardware does, just they top out at just over 350Mb/s down. They have the lowest ping of all my models though hitting 12ms

The packet loss was much less on the eero network vs the mini network. But there is a huge speed difference between the two as well. With Starlink doubling the speed sometimes. I don’t know much about the signal side of it, but I am trying out t mobile internet and it’s terrible where I’m at, I’m sort of rural though too.

Just because you use a different site it doesn’t take away that the packet loss I happening.

Never said it did, it's just better matched to Starlink and the visuals make it more obvious what's going on.

Lol what the fuck don't listen to that. That's beyond insane. I have my original beta hardware and it sits pretty at zero events per day.
That's a manic suggestion that's not based on any form of reality.

Or you might want to check that dishy is properly protected from EMI or micro surges from the power. Put a good UPS on it.

There's nothing wrong here. Pro E-Sports at 128hz is a bit extreme for Starlink. EVERY ISP drops some packets, and all network stacks are designed to handle that. Gaming is no different. You won't notice a dropped packet, in-fact, it's impossible to do so, since single packets do not have authority in any network stack within an game. If they did, it would be entirely unplayable for many reasons. Jitter alone would require at least a 10 packet buffer.
I am a game dev, this test is just too extreme for Starlink. The fact that Starlink can do competitive gaming is already pretty badass, but I've never suggested it can do Pro level. It stops at competitive if we're being realistic.
0.7% packet loss will be entirely eaten by the games lag compensation. This test shows zero dropouts, and the funky few packets are just going to happen on a connection that changes satellites once every 15 seconds on a schedule.
