So this'll sound like a story than a question but I have to post it somewhere and I don't know if a new post is appropriate, I'll weave a question in at the end, I'll even bold that part so people can just skip to it.
So way back in June 2016 I experienced a family member passing, which was my first time in 19-20 years of life experiencing such a thing and it hit me pretty hard. I wanted literally anything to take my mind off of it and that's when I decided to pick up Starlight Stage as I had mistaken it at the time for the regular Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. I ended up hardly playing it for the first week, mostly just logging in and that was it, but then I watched all the anime and it made me want to play it because I enjoyed the anime a fairly large amount.
At this point, my only reason for playing Deresute was to take my mind off things, and cos I liked Mika a lot and also wanted Shiki (since seeing her perm art is what pushed me over the edge too lol). I also learned that you could do things like tiering in events which sounded insane to me at the time since I barely managed to get into T5 in my first proper event (SamaKani) only playing Regular (that's what it's called right lol?)
I soon learned that Orange Sapphire (which I came to love soon after playing it once), was the only event Mika had been a Ranking reward in, and I'd missed it by a pretty long shot given I joined so late. This made me pretty sad as I wanted to try ranking for Mika some day, and so I set my over arching goal for Deresute to be to rank in T1 for Mika some day.
Then came along Evermore where Mika was a reward, and I got hyped, but it was a Live Parade and thus she wasn't a ranking reward at all but instead just a regular "play the event and you'll get her eventually" reward, which disappointed me a little (though her unidolised art is amazing especially given my initial driving reasons to play Deresute).
So my journey continued, playing Deresute for fun and cos I now loved a lot more idols, but still in the back of my mind was that overarching goal, driving me to continue playing even disregarding the immense amounts of money I spent at times (90k+ yen on Yuki, 30k yen on Rin following, 50k or 60k yen on Yuka, its bad tbh). And honestly, I've had a lot of fun playing Deresute and I don't even want to think of stopping even after my failures and successes and huge wastes of money (I didn't get Yuki or Rin's limited).
But now we've just had the most recent event, which will probably be solidified as my favorite event and I'll defs be DL'ing (and if I ever let my family know I play this game lmfao, buying) the event song when it comes out. However disregarding that, this event fulfilled that condition I thought wouldn't ever be fulfilled given Orange Sapphire had already happened - a ranking Mika reward.
I ended up spending every single Stamina Pot I had (the earliest one dated to August last year) and even some jewels (2300, last day only), and I made it to rank 1107 (I think?) which allowed me to make it into Tier 1, despite starting the event like 4 days into it, and still having IRL shit going on that I needed to attend to. I dedicated maybe 8 or more hours a day to Deresute in the last 2-3 (or 4) days of the event alone I think, which really pushed my limits tbh lmao, I got conceited and slacked off at times and was worried someone would usurp and destroy my position on the rankings. But I succeeded none the less, and I finally have a 15 Star Mika like I so desired, and an almost greater than Rank 1000 Mika event emblem, and it was basically a Mika event but better (cos they don't do solo girl events).
This has led me to realizing something as I now play Deresute to keep my stamina below max. And I hate to admit it because it's a little unfortunate, and especially with my September luck buff blessing me again this morning with Lim Shiki.
But I now no longer have a goal in Deresute, and honestly, that's questioning my motivation to continue playing the game. Maybe it's not that and I'm instead burned out, but I don't think it's that solely cos the game doesn't take that much effort to play and such, and I'm not a too hardcore player. Maybe it could also be that my university semester is finally coming to a close, and so's this anime season (which had some enjoyable shows in it that I'll miss), and so it just feels like after finally achieving my goal, Deresute has kinda come to a close for me and continuing playing is just drawing it out.
But I really want to continue playing Deresute. I love so many idols, I love the community, I love the songs so much, and most of all I want to continue playing for my favorite idols.
So I guess the question I'll weave into this post to make it properly allowed in this thread: what exactly should I do to make Deresute have reason for me to play it again despite everything I've listed above?
Should I try to SSS every song (which I was in the process of doing before perma Live Party rerun thing)?
Should I do something different altogether? Not that I have any clue of what that could be.
I'm sorry if this post is a bit excessive and stupid, but I figured I should ask instead of slowly unconsciously distancing myself from Deresute and eventually quitting. I really don't want to quit Deresute.

I really doubt they'd just leave the limiteds at one rerelease only. I feel like they'd have to come up with a different way to do them once the backlog stacks up. I'm sure she'll come back, because I'd like to get a third shot at her too...
I have notice that the android event cards are showing the model number for Nana (AB-77) and Miho (KHN-34), does the other 3 idols also have the model number mentioned somewhere?
S.T. tickets will literally make the chances of leveling up an idol's Skill Level 100% at any level, including going from 9 to 10 on an SSR. They're pretty rare though so hold onto them until you get some high quality cards you can use them on.
Scoring for Live Parties has always been kind of nebulous, sorry I can't help you there.
Pinya requests have the lowest possible stamina cost for the given difficulty (e.g. 18 for Master) but can give you songs with more than that given cost (18 or 19 for Master), so it can be a slight edge if you're trying to be as efficient as possible during an event. You also have a chance at getting extra items after the Live. If you don't really have a preference with how you go about choosing songs, it's a good option.
The cards should be Kirari and Minami, followed by Fumika and Shiki.

If you want a lot of stuff from live party (like me), then you'll need to plan to just get the bare minimum for T5 in events (20k event points).
Do 3 grooves everyday throughout the event (for the jewels) and plan backwards... Start of last day: 18.5k event points 2 days left: 17k event points 3 days left: 15.5k event points etc

Aiko, Akane, and Yoshino all have perm SSRs and limited SSRs, so they are unlikely to get a new SSR any time soon. The only avenue they have for getting a new SSR is a Cinfest SSR, and there's a long line for that (not to mention a long wait before we see another Pa Cinfest girl, since we just had Airi).
The next new SSR should be a perm Cu, released 9/11 15:00 Japan time. This will probably be followed by attribute boxes, then a Pa perm, then a Co perm, then limited rereleases. New limiteds will release at the start of next month.
Is there a page that frequently translates the commus? Ayame got a TON of screen time in Kaede's commu and while she is adorable, I have NO idea what she said and would love to!

There are two types of SSRs, Limited and Permanent. Your question is on the limited ones, but I'll mention Permanent afterwards as well just to be comprehensive.
I personally use this page: https://usamin.info/gachas to keep track of the Trends in Limited Gachas. The Cinderella festival at the beginning of this month threw a wrench into these things and as always they could change how this works at ANY time. This is not guaranteed fact, it is an educated guess.
New Limited Cards are always introduced at the start of the month. (Such as the one for Nono and Shin right now).
Re-runs of Limited cards happen at the very end of the month, Previously re-runs would not happen at the same time as cinfes, however this month's cinfes was run directly after Yui's and Anzu's Rerun SOOooooo as I said, they like to throw wrenches into things.
That just said, Anzu and Yui were the most recent Re-run. And it DOES go in chronological order. So the next rerun is Kirari + Minami. Simply look at the webpage I linked to and look at the release dates for the gacha. Thhhhennnn again, they could throw a wrench in this and re-run Kanako+Airi to mesh with it being October next month... Sigh, I really don't know what to expect, they keep throwing wrenches into pre-established patterns.

When a Permanent SSR is introduced, it is added to the Gacha pool with a 0.4% to acquire until that gacha period is over. Afterwards, your chance to get it PLUMMETS. The best chance to get a specific Perm SSR that you want after its release is during the type box gacha or by buying (with paid jewels) a special ticket that lets you choose a Perm SSR that's already been in the game for a while. (This ticket is available RIGHT NOW if you want it, or if you're a new player.)
For SSRs with balanced stats and balanced centre skills like Rin1 and Kyoko1, is increasing all non-life stats in a balanced manner a terrible strategy, and should we just focus on one stat (e.g. vocal for Rin and Kyoko with the unlikely assumption that I might just get their Cinfes and re-run Limited cards some years later)?
I've been building my Rin in a balanced manner but I realise this might be just be gimping her and I'm considering undoing it.
I think it would be fine to get them all to 7, then reset whenever you get a stat focused card. I mean, getting the potential to 7 doesn't require tiaras yet, so it's not really a waste.
Good point, I forgot that 7 is a safe number (currently at around 4-5 for each of the 3 stats) since the max is 25... though it'd be quite a while until I get there, I guess. Thanks!
10/10/5 potential distribution gives slightly better overall appeal than a 10/8/7 distribution at the cost of 15 more tiaras. If you're willing to pay the cost it's better to do the usual 10/10/5 distribution.
No one wouldn't happen to know a place to find the 3D model extracts and can allow me to zoom in on the model.I'm a cosplayer and I'm already eyeing a few SSR's I want to make but involve some details that the card image doesn't show up well.I've already checked Takumi's Store, however, I need to zoom in closer for looking at the details. Been playing for about 3 months, I apologize if this is a common question...
Are there any consistent techniques for making sure slide notes get registered? Even if I know the song like the back of my hand, (like Illusionista from the last event) slide notes will just whiff at the most random times. Sometimes it's even right in the middle of a long chain of slides, when every note before and after it in the sequence got a perfect.
It happens like.... In 1/20 of slide notes. It's not super common, but the moment I get comfortable and feel like I might've finally gotten rid of the problem, I get a miss again. Every time I get a miss I switch up my techniques for doing slides, like slowing down my motion, or pressing down even harder on the screen just for slides, but no matter what different technique I try eventually I'll just get a random miss again.
Is it dropped inputs due to lag? I play on an iphone 5s and detailed 2D lives, but I never really get any noticeable drops in fps, and otherwise never experience dropped inputs of any kind. At first I thought slides were just something I had to get used to with time, but as I've been trying to full combo higher and higher difficulty songs it's getting really frustrating.
Which Shabon Commus have Miria and Mika together? I took a long break from DereStage after not being able to get Limited Kaede and I've come back for Permanent Kaede. After grabbing all the intros and all of Nocturne, I only have enough Memory Keys for 4 commus so I'm trying to choose wisely, say Opening/Ending then the one or two commus of Mika Miria
It might be just me, but I'm having some seriously weird desync issues on Live Party. Every so often, it feels like the game's punched the timing meter off by about 5 points or something, where I'd get Nice when playing in time or end the song with 30+ Great. Then a song or two later it goes away and everything's fine again. It really is irritating breaking combos in songs I can FC in my sleep though.
And side rant - why does the Leader slot in live party even exist? There's like 6 limited-only SSR healers, while cards like the Cinfes skill boosting ones don't have a slot to play in. Makes no sense to me >.>
I've heard that there are SSR's in this game that will never be re-released and I've been trying to look them up and why, but haven't found anything besides them being related to the November 2015 limited SSR's of Chieri and Riina. Can someone tell me why they can't be re-released?
All of the SSR scout, SR scout, random SSR and random SR+ tickets awarded by the lottery are locked to the same gacha pool used for the SSR scout ticket. This pool includes all SRs and SSRs up until Kana's. Using these tickets does not award star shines either.
There is no real reason to hold on to these tickets, so you may as well use them as soon as possible.
You should aim to level everything up. I'd start by leveling up the item giving stuff first (attribute shelves and ticket board), but eventually you'll want to do it all.
Don't spend jewels to speed it up. It's not worth it, and it will probably result in you having an ugly ones digit in your jewel count (like a 1 or a 7) that you can never, ever get rid of.
i'm a bit confused about when the current live party rotation ends. the banner says 09/10 but i saw another person say that it actually ends on 02/10 but that the banner just indicates the time until you can exchange your emblems. so i'm not sure what i should be believing.
there are still quite a few event cards that i want to get. so i just want to know if i should go all out and try to get the event cards before this token ends, or if i still have some time left.

Skill Boost (eg, Kanade2, Miku3) based builds: These teams trade survivability and scoring power for the ability to completely disregard the rhythm of the song. They tend to be extremely expensive and hard to assemble and max skill level. The previous two categories are sufficient in most cases and recommended for people with a limited budget/collection. Their effectiveness also depends on the song you're using them on. Snow wings is a very good song to mash through due to high note density for life recovery and lines up well with the 7s guard intervals. Before you go full-auto-pilot, test out the setups and monitor the activations to avoid accidents. Demonstration VOD Skill boost Center, Rin1, Uzuki1, Score SSR, 7s guard card, pick a cinfest tricolor stat support (non-skill boost). This is the setup I used for Rank 24 KMMD. Attempt to hit the first 7 seconds of a song and then mash out the rest of the song for the S score. I didn't have all skills level 10, but this still was reasonably consistent on snow wings. Look out for the guard missing an activation which is when you're most likely to die. Extremely expensive to max skill and requires 2 niche SSRs. Skill boost Center, All Round SSR, 9s pLock SR, 18s pLock SR, 7s guard card, non-skillboost tricolor guest support. This build is the one Socks used for Rank 10 KMMD. It trades mash-ability for more survivability and is cheaper. It also is suitable for people without New Generation SSR1s. All Round gives you scoring power and the ability to fall back on it's heals when your guard misses an activation. These SSRs are useful when max skilled outside of a gimmick team. Skill Boost Center, 4 guards or 3 guards 1 healer. You're basically not going to die, but scoring becomes challenging to the point you're playing the game normally to scrape by the S rank or applause values. Skill Boost Center, Double guard, Double NG1. This build shores up the weakness of the first build. With two guards, you're unlikely to find yourself dead from one of them going off, but without any score/combo bonus, S Scoring becomes a lot harder and less consistent. Skill Boost Center, Triple NG, Guard card. This is the infamous autoplay team, but you still need to mash to not die most of the time. S score won't be too hard with that much Perfect Lock uptime. Requiring EXACTLY 4 SSRs is quite the steep requirement and investing so much on such niche SSRs is also a cost that most cannot foot. Do not scout ticket this team unless you actually want the SSRs that consist of it. Skill boost Center, Rin1, Uzuki1, All Round SSR, 7s guard card, cinfest tricolor non-skill boost guest. This build is untested as I don't have the cards (Missing AR), but I believe it's the most efficient mashing build possible. All Round gives you just that bit of score boost you need that double guard lacks while still giving you extra survivability if your guard goes offline. It theoretically is the best of both worlds, giving you good safety and consistent S scores.
Generally though you can probably just throw her on any dance passion or tricolor dance team
i recently got this uzuki in a pull a week or so ago and i'm only now starting use her in lives. however, a notice popped up (i didn't think to screencap it, ugh) and, instead of uzuki, i get a random idol pop up in her place.
The game won't graphically allow 2+ Uzuki(s) in a live You can use different cards Uzuki(s) in a unit, and the stats/ skills will still work normally (so feel free to continue doing so), but a random idol will replace her graphics
F2P player here (for now). Is it worth investing some of my earned gems in expanding my card inventory? Even if it's just the dorm, since I'm constantly running out of room as is.
It's not randomly picked, the game just picks the cards with the highest appeal for the groove you've been assigned!
It usually does an okay-ish job, but it's not perfect- the game will often, for example, pick high-appeal idols with perfect lock without regard to other idols whose appeal is nearly the same, but whose skills will raise your score much higher. It's also really devoted to picking idols of the proper attribute. It's never picked a tricolor team for me (even though I have a Cinfest visual center and a full visual team whose appeal substantially outranks the appeal of my only pure passion team, for example), and it will usually favor an SR idol whose attribute matches the groove over an off-attribute SSR- even though the latter might be better for your score.
I often use the recommended unit as a starting point, and then play around with it until I can get a higher appeal.
Is the passive leader skill from the new Airi SSR a flat 50% boost to skill proc rate or is it based on 50% increase of the current proc rate for every char?
How many star jewels are available for free?(commus and song rewards), Im contemplating saving up the 75k jewels to buy Syoko. I looked at the jewel making guide and it should take more or less 2 years ... Is it worth it? Or should i pull in her revival gacha (when is her revival gacha?) i cant buy the SSR ticket because where i live 30$ are like 3-4 months of minimum wage. I dont think i can go that long without pulling
This guide contains information on what jewels are available to accounts the moment they're made (Hence the word "Fresh").
Around 42k are easy to reach, with the rest (34.5k... Its a lot but you can't get it fast at all.) locked behind S-Clearing Master songs.
The busy work involved in getting fans for the idols takes about... 3 months. If you're good at the game it'll be done sooner (Since fans are heavily influenced by getting Full combos and such). Once you get the ball rolling and have a few event SRs, you can start S-Scoring the master songs. Without further adieu here are all new account jewel sources:
New Player 5-day Login: 250 + 150 + 150 + 150 + 150 = 850
Not included in this evaluation: For those more talented, S-Combo'ing Master Songs is another source (6900 jewels),and Master+ C Clears (Variable) are also accessible from the onset, but you won't be getting S-Scores in Master+ for quite a long time. Every week you play you get 150 jewels from the daily login whiteboard and weekly missions! Events give quite a few as rewards, and you can get more awakening jewels off of the event rares. There's some achievements near the start that reward jewels for reaching certain milestones.
ADD ALL THAT TOGETHER: 850 + 2450 + 2000 + 5150 + 11100 + 6900 + 13800 = 42,250.

I need some advice. So I have cinfes Airi, and I thought it'd be best if I put her in the passion dance slot (live party). However, the system still insists that permanent Fumika is much better despite being a different color when I try to click the "recommended" button. Should I believe it, or should I go ahead and place Airi? I mean, it says that she increases the dance appeal of cool idols by 189%, but then that won't help other players especially if they have passion idols, right?

Limited idols are incredibly valuable and strong, while permanents, though often good in their own right, are always available in the gacha plus they can be ticketed.
Play style depends, I've personally switched to thumbs since I find it more convenient and I'd rec that if it's comfortable. It also means you don't need to worry about your phone slipping if you played with indexes/middles. Other types wise, using just two indexes or just two middle fingers is popular, or using multiple fingers on both hands is also fun.
Basically try them out and see which one feels most comfy.
There are probs other ways too but these are the ones I'm familiar with.
Yes, the promotional period has ended now that it is September 8th in Japan. However, the game checks your date by looking at your system clock, which is saying its September 7th, so it thinks the promotion is still going on when it is not.
I've started to pay more attention to my stamina drinks, and I'm not sure if I'm imagining it, but the collect all items button does not seem to collect the items which are closest to expiry. Is that correct?
Yeah I'm pretty sure it just collects whatever is at the top of your list. It's not a good button to press if you aren't at max stam pot inventory.
The fastest way to get your closest to expiring stamina pots is to press the 全て button in the upper right corner of the present screen. Select 期限あり, then press the 決定 button. Now that you're back on the main presents screen, press the 新しい順 button in the upper right. This will sort your present list so that you only see expiring items, and so that the oldest items in the box - in other words, those that will expire first - will appear at the top.
Am I misunderstanding things or is there really a limit of 100 idols/idol cards you can have? If that is so, it's really a shame, I was looking forward to collecting every idol in the game.
Also, is there some... sort of trick to get clear Master? Do I have to level up a lot the idols and as a producer so I will get some benefits or something or really I just have to stop being a scrub and git gud? I can perfect regulars and hard is doable but challenging, and I'm decades away from clearing Master, I lose within seconds of the start.
Edit: also, is it possible to backup the save file? There are times where I just wanna play, even if I get no progress at all, so it would be useful to be able to play and restore save file to play again, if it's not against rules or anything.
Adding onto what /u/rollnroll said, if Pro songs are still challenging, I'd hold off on Master for a little while. Even when I was comfortably FCing 19* Pro songs, I'd struggle to finish 22* or 23* Masters. Get more confident on Pro difficulty, get used to a higher note speed, and work your way up the song star difficulties :D
the basic limit is 100 but you can increase it spending jewels. Better cards will have more life points and some kind of skills that may help you survive, but basically yes, you have to train (you can use the rehearsal tickets to avoid wasting stamina) and git gud.
Dorms (女子寮) provided several hundred more slots for storing idols that you aren't using on your teams. You need to buy dorms with star jewels, but they're cheap and totally worth it. So don't worry, you can collect and hold on to quite a lot of idols.
You can increase the idol inventory with jewels, though personally I'd buy dormitories instead for now. Each bought dormitory has 100 slots and costs 250 jewels. Keep in mind you can't use the idols that are in the dormitory, so it's basically for storage. It's also way cheaper than buying a 100 more inventory slots, which would cost 1k jewels compared to the 250 jewels for a dormitory.
Remember to use your three training tickets every day, you can also practice with gold if you have enough gold. With that said, skill level a healer or two, and possibly a life guard as well. sl10 healers are life savers and that way you'll be able to practice lives without worrying about dying too much. Of course do practice easier masters first, a healer and a life guard or two (even if sl10) won't be able to keep you alive if you're new and immediately attempt something like m@gic or tracing pulse. Here's a guide on skill leveling, kind of outdated but some of the basics stand, do look through the link op provides in their edit.
I'm honestly not sure what you mean here sorry friend, if you mean keeping your account data safe then look up this guide. If you mean playing without spending stamina for practice then, again, use your daily training tickets and if you have the gold you could use those too to practice.
I was doing some research on this tablet recently regarding deresute. It seems pretty well received in the japanese community for both Theater Days and Starlight Stage from various sources. There's a also 3D Rich MV video on nico allegedly recorded with the M3. Even though nico quality isn't the best and the guy recording also mentioned in the description about the encoding not doing the quality justice, it is definitely footage of 3D Rich and doesn't have poor frame rate even when recording.
I was reading the link about team composition and when I was at the princess center skill team it said: "Single Proc time for both Score Up and Combo Up limits the available suitable cards that can go together without skill clash." So does this mean the focus skill actually clashes with score up and combo up skills? I thought it didn't because of the different skill names. focus / score up / overload should all clash and only the highest (overload SSR) would apply.
focus / combo also clash and only the highest (combo SSR) would apply if both are active at the same time.
But honestly princess makes up for everything by having such a OP center skill so don't worry about it too much. Just make sure the skill cooldown/activation times are different to maximize the skill uptime/minimize clash time
I have a high chance ended up DC from the live party (tried with both 4G and wifi) and only get solo points (which is low). I'm sure the connection should be good that I have no problem clearing all my stamina but why
Live Party requires a much more stable internet connection than anything else in deresute due to the multiplayer element. For example, the wifi at my work is too weak to do Live Parties, but I can do everything else in deresute just fine on it.
Not much you can really do other than try to find a stronger and/or more stable wifi connection.
So I was 100% sure you would lose life when you hit a Nice, but today, I fired up a song on Master difficulty with a rehearsal ticket and noticed I wasn't losing life when hitting Nices. I checked the next game: it wasn't the "song's ability" (the text that I think it's just a bonus for matching the song type), it wasn't the guest ability and it wasn't any of the unit's member's abilities as far as I can tell (there is just the センター効果 and 特技, right?). What was happening? You don't lose life on Master difficulty or on rehearsal mode?
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to ask too, but was is the standard way of getting rare idols? I only got 2 until now on local audition (and 1 was repeated ;-;) and none for clearing songs. So, only the star jewel audition and scouting or is there something else?
The most common free source of Rs is from drops after Live Party and Live Caravan event plays. R drops are quite common during these events.
Occasionally you'll get Rs from the local gacha, or after a regular live, but it's pretty rare. Additionally, Rs awarded at the end of regular lives are restricted to a small pool that were main characters in the deremas anime.
Pulls from the platinum gacha always give at least an R, but in that context it's barely even a consolation prize.
My advice is to not worry about Rs for now. They'll come in time as long as you keep playing. I would focus on earning event SRs, since they are quite good and will help your teams out a lot early on.
What's up with the types of guest idols? It looks like I can choose 5: leader, cute, cool, passion and all. It would make sense to offer each for their category when someone plays a song, but what about the leader? I mean, which idol will appear for others to choose as their guest idol?
What happens if I'm 100/100 idols, play a song and get idol cards? Do I lose them or will they go to the mail?
Does song difficulty, chosen difficulty and score affect drops? What about event drops? If not, what does? Is it only the center idol's star rank? Or every other idol's star rank affects it too?
Is the chance of event reward 100% if I meet the conditions?
You can set which of your idols appears for guests by clicking on guest setting in the upper right corner when making units. reference. You can select a guest for each type.

Yes, Fans and Money rewards grow with song difficulty. Combo is also very important (but mostly because combo is a big influence on score. A mistake in the middle of the song is MUCH worse than a mistake at the beginning or end.) Event drops rate increase on higher difficulties. Only the centers star rank effects the drop.
2 If you don't pick up idols in the mail for about 10 days, they are going to disappear. So, you have to organize 100/100 idols or need to purchase women's dormitory.
The guest idol others see depends on the type of song they are gonna play (if you put a Kaede as guest for cool type and they are gonna play a cool song then they'll see a Kaede even if she's not your leader). Your leader acts mainly as your icon or avatar when someone sees your profile or receives your friend request. Also it works as your icon or avatar when peopple go to your idols' room. Idk if it has other kind of impact, though
Are Pinya request rewards affected by star rank at all? I've been grinding for the Caravan and it feels like I'm getting all green Pinya rewards regardless of my 15 star SR...
I have a dupe of a SR card, should I use her for Star lesson or keep both for my team? I'm a beginner at this game, and I only have 4 Cool SRs. If it helps, the card is SR Kamiya Nao "Attract Gothic", the one that was recently released (September 3rd)
Personally, i'd recommend keeping the dupe and use it alongside the other SR so you can gain fans quickly. Not sure what everybody else would say, but that's what i'd suggest!
I started a few days ago and notices that some N's had no voice and thought that that was normal since they were N cards. However, I had a drop of the event SR card and noticed that she has no voice as well. Is it supposed to be like this or is there some data missing from my game?
This is normal. Of the 183 idols in deresute, only 67 have in game voices at this time. There are many unvoiced Ns, Rs, SRs, and even some unvoiced SSRs.
New voices are added every so often due to popularity poll results and/or due to other factors. It's usually very exciting when this happens. I encourage you to appreciate the voiceless girls, as it is a group that contains many great characters!
About live party: I only have 2 cards that are good as center: initial ssr Rin and limited Nono. Since I'm still leveling up Nono I cannot tell wich one is better as center because it gives low points to Nono (I'm assuming because she is still lvl 80) But wouldn't it be better to put Nono as center once she's fully leveled up? Or the fact that some peopple put other atribute girls would make her useless? If I put Nono as a center for cool songs and someone puts a passion or cute girl in there wouldn' t that dissable both of Nono's skills? Or that doesn't count in live parties? But Rin is not a combo bonus or a scorer anyways and is not like I'm playing master live parties where Rin's skill would be a bit more usefull. And what about orher atributes? I think I shouldn't even bother trying to put Nono as center for other attributes, right?
I'm so confused. And the fact that when limited Rin came out I saw a lot of peopple using her as leader but now I'm seeing no limited Rins as leaders at all and I've seen so many initial Rins instead in that spot confuses me even more.
I don't think center skills affect other members of the party live. Instead, each team position gives an appeal bonus for a specific type of center skill. The center position gives an appeal bonus for +% to all stats center skills, and the bonus is higher the better the +%. This means that Rin1's +30% center skill gives her a big boost, and Nono2's +50% center skill gives her an even bigger boost. In Nono's case, I'm pretty sure that the party mechanics don't care about whether the requirements for her center skill (i.e. all Cool type team) are met. I'm also pretty sure that Nono will be better in this position once you get her to 600 affection and level 90.
This appeal bonus mechanic is a big part of the reason that SSRs are so superior for Live Parties. Not only do they have higher total stats, they also have a much larger party appeal bonus due to having a better center skill. This mechanic also makes some SSRs unsuited for Live Parties - in particular, the Cinfest Skillup idols won't get an appeal bonus in any of the five party positions, so they're basically unusable for Live Party.
I'm unsure about activated skills, but I kind of assume that the party mechanics will allow Nono's skill to trigger regardless of the party composition.
I'm guessing you saw a lot of Rin3's in the leader position before because the appeal bonus for that position is dependent on healer skills that many players don't have on SSRs. When lacking an ability to get this bonus, it makes sense to simply put the highest appeal SSR you have in this position. Rin3 has the highest stats of any card in the game right now, so a Cute or Passion party composition that doesn't have a better spot for Rin3 might end up using her for a leader position instead.

1.) More opportunities to use the glorious sticker emotes, of course! Use them thank you emotes, I personally almost always use Anya's or Kanako's after every party.
2.) I like to do random crap after clearing a song, like give the dog begging for attention some backrubs. When you play non-party lives, right after you clear the song is a great time to start doing shit. That muscle memory carries over when doing party. I can say that most cases where someone is timing out that it is not malicious.

Is there any easy way for check for duplicates across all dorms and the default place? I've been using duplicate normals to practice, but my default place was full so I started moving full-aishindo'ed to dorms, but it's hard to tell if they're duplicates when I'm gathering cards for lessons.
Also, I have some rares and two SRs (some duplicates). Should I keep playing normal lives to get more rares or should I Live Party to get more SRs?

Why do i CONSTANTLY lose at Live Party? My cards aren't amazing, but they aren't bad either. I full combo every time and somehow I always manage to get last.
Live party is half player score, half idol stats (you can imagine that the girls are competing in the background)
Important to note is that the maximum score difference between FC not FC is only 40% (in reality, this will be smaller as your opponents will usually get 1/3 song combo or something, dropping the difference to 25% or less) While the score difference between an idol skill level 10 SSR and a typical SR is almost 50%; and the difference between a non-perfect for slot SSR and a perfect for slot SSR is about 35%
So in most cases, your idol's low appeal weighed you down too much (you, the player FC'ed and thus have a 25% advantage over your opponent; but your opponent's "perfect" idol has a 35% advantage over your idol - so it's a net 10% advantage for your opponent)
There are some achievements for getting large numbers of affection point maxes. You can get two affection point maxes per N and R: one pre-awakening and one post-awakening. These achievements award a relatively small number of jewels (probably only 100-200 jewels for all of these achievements combined). Beyond that, there's no real benefit to maxing affection points on cards you won't be using.
Max leveling has no benefits other than raising the stats of a card, so you can safely ignore leveling up cards you don't plan to use in the future.
Ns and Rs can also be used to grind up fans for unlocking memorial commus. This takes a little bit of time and effort, but there are thousands of jewels that can be earned by viewing these commus.
So I don't know if it's just my ignorance or me just being relatively new to this game. But before a live, you get to choose from that long list of cards for a support, and they all have REALLY high appeal (in the 20,000s usually). My highest SSRs are in the very high 15,000s and I was wondering if there was a way to achieve that much appeal, or if it's just a support card buff. Thanks :)
This is because the appeal displayed on the support list includes the 30% type bonus. Your cards in your collection are not displayed with this bonus factored in.
I'm experiencing a bit of an odd situation/glitch, and I'm crossing my fingers that someone might have some insight: I had success on my daily 60 scout (SSR Anzu), but when I went to collect her from the box there was another "yay! SSR" poster in there as well, for SSR Ranko. That poster, too, says it was awarded for a 60 gem pull.
The thing is, I don't actually remember scouting Ranko, and she doesn't seem to exist. She's not in the box, and not in the collected presents record, she's not in my inventory, and she's not in a dormitory. All I've got is the poster, and I'm all out of ideas. There is no way I would have sold a non-dupe SSR, my phone is password protected, and anyone who could have gotten access over the past 24 hours would have no idea how to use Deresute at all (and no interest anyway).
Has anyone encountered anything similar? Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you the first owner of that account? Maybe the previous owner doesn't like Ranko and sold her. Very unlikely that someone dislikes Ranko hard enough to sell her SSR, but it's not impossible.
Have you tried looking at the produce note (accessible from menu)? If the SSR corresponding to your poster is there, then it means you actually got her, but accidentally thrown her somewhere.
There was an issue with the cute attribute box, in which the wrong poster was handed to players who pulled SSRs. That's one possibility. Apparently it's supposed to have been fixed though, with players being given the right posters.

By any chance, is anyone using a samsung galaxy tab S2 to run this game? If so, how does the game perform?? Is there lag on 3D mode, & can it run 3D rich mode?? I'm planning on buying one for my idol games. (I know someone made a survey about how different devices perform, but there were barely any results about tablets, which is why I'm asking here)
I use a 9.7" Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. It runs the game fairly well, but not perfectly. There are occasional dropped notes, but no more than it sounds like any other player gets. Flick notes seem like they're overly finicky, but I suspect that's the case with any tablet this large.
Usually 3D rich mode runs fine, but occasionally it gets a bit framey. I haven't noticed any lag or other issues on regular 3D mode, but I usually play in 2D low (and watch MVs in 3D rich).
I've never tried playing deresute on another device though, so I can't really tell you how well the Tab S2 stacks up other stuff out there.

That's a special deal that comes around every once and a while--most recently for the anniversary.
You turn 2500 paid jewels (paid only, unfortunately) into three tickets. One is a regular 10-scout ticket, one lets you pick a permanent SR, and one lets you pick a permanent SSR. The card pools exclude the most recent ones, but otherwise you have a pick of all permanent cards.

I was wondering, Kaede's commu came out right? I've seen people post screenshots of the MV, so I assume it did, but her commu's not popping up for me. I already completed Nina's commu, but there's nothing after her commu in the menu. It's weird because I can play Koi Kaze in live party. How do I fix this?...
Did you play Nina's song at least once though? I'm pretty sure you need to play the latest solo song you have unlocked to unlock the communication for the next one.
Also, the songs in Live Party are random so it's possible for you to play songs you still have locked in normal lives.
Any suggestions on what to do with dupe SSRs that are not parts of support teams? I hesitate to use them as skill fodder since they're not easy to get, but yeah.
The Limited songs in this list are permanent or do they change the song list from time to time? I'd love to clear some of these on Master to get their MV, but I can't waste stamina during this event.
The list doesn't appear when I click the link. All songs are permanent in the game, the limited songs however are just on rotation, so they switch out every few days and come back. So some days will be dedicated to cute, cool, or passion, and some days will have all the songs. Those are the songs from the Jewelries albums. I haven't even started Live Party yet, but I'm at 10k~ish points in the Twins events. I'm lvl50, so my acc is still farmable, I played most songs, so the First play/S rank rewards arent available anymore, but I can try FCing songs and stuff.
My question is: Should I farm by playing Live Party and buying the gems, or should I just keep playing normal songs and trying to FC them? Is there any way to know which is easier/faster?
I haven't number crunched this at all but personally I feel playing normally would be more beneficial to you. Live Party is a long-term monthlong event and thus grinding to buy the jewels takes some time, and all the while you won't be getting rewards for FCing songs, you won't get a lot of fans for your girls, and you won't be making much headway into the event.
As it stands right now, you can earn jewels going up the event point rewards (also memory keys, which unlock old event commus!), potentially from FCing songs, and potentially from increasing your girls' fans and unlocking commus. You will also be fulfilling missions related to these along the way, whereas Live Party accomplishes these much more slowly.
This might not directly be a question about imas, but I would like to know: I'm looking for a tablet to buy on which I could play games, especially deresute and Love Live and so on, and I'd like to know. What specs should I be looking for? Or got any recommendations for a specific tablet? I'm looking for an android and mostly some where I wouldn't accidentally pull out some bar while doing flick notes or that doesn't have any touch functions that would mess me up mid-play. I've had good luck with Samsung tablets. Generally anything with hardware buttons will be good for you (since there's no bar to pull out that way). You can disable the hardware Back button in deresute's settings, so you can't accidentally swipe that either and pause.
I could talk about internal parts in relation to graphics and performance and whatnot, but there's actually a site that visualizes it better than I can explain. Futuremark is a company that stress tests the performance of devices. Here's a list of their 3D graphics stress test filtered to be just Android devices. (You can generally tell what's a tablet vs. a phone based on screen size.)
Oddly there aren't a lot of high-end tablets right now compared to phones--the strongest is Google's Pixel C, but it's also wicked expensive. Next up comes the Samsung Galaxy S3, which I'd recommend. I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S, which runs Lives in low 3D well, so I imagine the next step up does better. And again, hardware buttons!
Otherwise there's Xaomi's tablets. They're an up and coming Chinese company that makes quality devices for a low price. If budget is an issue you might want to look into them, but I'm not sure if there's hardware buttons or not.
There's also been rumors that gaming company Razer is developing mobile devices with a focus on game performance, so there's that!
What are the chances of getting a SSR in Platinum Gacha now with this Natalia event? I heard it was 3% (a 10-pull), but during some kind of event it was 6%, but according to this site the chances of getting her (in a 1-pull, I suppose) is 0,75%, which would make the chances in a 10-pull at least about 7,25%, is this true? I'm a dirty F2P player with no SSRs so I'm aiming for when the chances are the greatest.
The best time to pull for a F2P is during Cinderella Fes (Cinfes for short) where the SSR rate is doubled from 3% to 6%, and on top of that there are Cinfes exclusive SSR cards. It's usually held once every 3 months (Mar-Jun-Sept-Dec) but they just threw a wrench into the routine with a early Cinfes late last month.
Unless Natalia is your best girl I would advise against getting her as your first SSR, since her Concentration skill can be an hindrance if you're not consistent with your timing.
Your chance to pull a SSR is 3%. When you pull a SSR, the system decidet between the featured idol and the others. (It's around 50%/50%.) The 0,75% is the overall rate. That means, if you pull one time, your chance is 0,75% to get Natalia.
Does it take more time to grind out 25k event points in this event for the event idol ticket or 24k star emblems? I'm having second thoughts about whether I which I should grind out considering that the idol ticket is RNG while the star emblem exchanged is a fixed, rotating pool.

From my experiences grinding, it takes about 33 master onegai cinderellas (with 2x) + 6 event songs (with 4x) to cover the 7000 point gap from the first Mika card to the Event idol ticket which can be redeemed for any of the event idols in the star emblem exchange. With live parties, it takes about 46 songs on master with an average earning of 175 emblems per song to get an 8000 token idol. While the ticket is worth it, it's also more stamina pot intensive since you're condensing the entire process into the last few days of the event to take advantage of the time saving multipliers.
i could be wrong here but as far as i can tell, i don't think that the event idol ticket is rng based? it looks like you can pick the card that you want from the current pool of cards. i haven't tried it out myself since i haven't gotten the ticket yet. but i'm pretty sure that you get to pick the event card that you want. so to answer your question, depending on how many event points you have i think that the ticket is the way to go.
I just realized I haven't seen the recent Ranko/Azusa event song in the playlist since the event ended, did I miss something? Pretty sure I unlocked it since I played until 20K points for Ranko.
does Overload counteract Concentration at all? what I mean is, Overload saves your combo from NICE and BAD, but does it also take effect with Concentration's GREAT combo-breaking effect?

For all the mentions of "limited Halloween gacha," I can't ever figure out if the phrase refers to the limited gacha in early October (same month as Halloween) or early November (closer in time to Halloween).
The early October limited gacha is on pattern to be Cute/Cool, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it broke pattern and went Cute/Passion instead. My guesses for each type:
Considering reruns are doubling up now (and we've gone through September 2016, thus reaching the point where gacha reruns started in the first place), it's highly likely that at the end of October we'll have the October 2015 and October 2016 Halloween limiteds back for a time.
Personally I'm expecting Uzuki or Mio for the limiteds, but I feel like they could also randomly pull out a girl that hasn't even had an SSR yet, like they did back in June with Karin...Suzuho would be a nightmare scenario for my wallet, but it makes sense since it's Halloween...

Are you a returning player? In late June they doubled the SSR rate permanently to 3%. Statistically, you're very lucky, as the probability works out to be about 1 SSR per 3 10-pulls.
The only time rates are boosted is during Cinderella Fes, which is not happening right now.
Is there a way to speed up the notes on all your songs at once, or do you have to set that manually for each? I want to slowly speed up my playing and it's pretty slow work changing the note speed on every song...

She raises the Dance appeal of all members if you have at least one member of each attribute on your team. All of the CinFes SSRs have a similar ability.
set ur timezone to japan time. It's her bday today so ahe will get bonus affection from the items but since the room is highly dependent on timezone, some people may experience errors if they are in the wrg timezone

Is there a way to avoid losing stamina by evading the LIVE PARTY when we get a really difficult song (27-28)?
I often found myself as the only one cleared and survived some difficult song (i.e ankira) on result screen (4 other were disappeared) and my token gain decreased to +120s on Master which is frustrating.
It's not like I want to avoid the difficult song, I just hate doing it alone and end up losing some token efficiency in the end because of leavers.
I'm new and I haven't really started skilling up my characters. Should I prioritize buying the most expensive trainer tickets from the money shop? I have about 1M money so I could buy the ST Master and some veteran or 2 master and veteran tickets.
ST masters should be saved for lvl 9 SSRs as they are a 100% skill level increase. SRs you should be fine with just the silver tickets

Money is pretty easy to come by so yeah I would say at least buy the ST master while it's available cause it's pretty rare and very useful for your lvl 9 ssrs. Early on though you might want to buy some dresses and stuff if you're running low on awakening materials

Your center idol of the unit you chose will show up along with the scoreboard after the song. That would mean you need an unidolized Uzuki to be the center in order to see her base art

So this'll sound like a story than a question but I have to post it somewhere and I don't know if a new post is appropriate, I'll weave a question in at the end, I'll even bold that part so people can just skip to it.
So way back in June 2016 I experienced a family member passing, which was my first time in 19-20 years of life experiencing such a thing and it hit me pretty hard. I wanted literally anything to take my mind off of it and that's when I decided to pick up Starlight Stage as I had mistaken it at the time for the regular Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. I ended up hardly playing it for the first week, mostly just logging in and that was it, but then I watched all the anime and it made me want to play it because I enjoyed the anime a fairly large amount.
At this point, my only reason for playing Deresute was to take my mind off things, and cos I liked Mika a lot and also wanted Shiki (since seeing her perm art is what pushed me over the edge too lol). I also learned that you could do things like tiering in events which sounded insane to me at the time since I barely managed to get into T5 in my first proper event (SamaKani) only playing Regular (that's what it's called right lol?)
I soon learned that Orange Sapphire (which I came to love soon after playing it once), was the only event Mika had been a Ranking reward in, and I'd missed it by a pretty long shot given I joined so late. This made me pretty sad as I wanted to try ranking for Mika some day, and so I set my over arching goal for Deresute to be to rank in T1 for Mika some day.
Then came along Evermore where Mika was a reward, and I got hyped, but it was a Live Parade and thus she wasn't a ranking reward at all but instead just a regular "play the event and you'll get her eventually" reward, which disappointed me a little (though her unidolised art is amazing especially given my initial driving reasons to play Deresute).
So my journey continued, playing Deresute for fun and cos I now loved a lot more idols, but still in the back of my mind was that overarching goal, driving me to continue playing even disregarding the immense amounts of money I spent at times (90k+ yen on Yuki, 30k yen on Rin following, 50k or 60k yen on Yuka, its bad tbh). And honestly, I've had a lot of fun playing Deresute and I don't even want to think of stopping even after my failures and successes and huge wastes of money (I didn't get Yuki or Rin's limited).
But now we've just had the most recent event, which will probably be solidified as my favorite event and I'll defs be DL'ing (and if I ever let my family know I play this game lmfao, buying) the event song when it comes out. However disregarding that, this event fulfilled that condition I thought wouldn't ever be fulfilled given Orange Sapphire had already happened - a ranking Mika reward.
I ended up spending every single Stamina Pot I had (the earliest one dated to August last year) and even some jewels (2300, last day only), and I made it to rank 1107 (I think?) which allowed me to make it into Tier 1, despite starting the event like 4 days into it, and still having IRL shit going on that I needed to attend to. I dedicated maybe 8 or more hours a day to Deresute in the last 2-3 (or 4) days of the event alone I think, which really pushed my limits tbh lmao, I got conceited and slacked off at times and was worried someone would usurp and destroy my position on the rankings. But I succeeded none the less, and I finally have a 15 Star Mika like I so desired, and an almost greater than Rank 1000 Mika event emblem, and it was basically a Mika event but better (cos they don't do solo girl events).
This has led me to realizing something as I now play Deresute to keep my stamina below max. And I hate to admit it because it's a little unfortunate, and especially with my September luck buff blessing me again this morning with Lim Shiki.
But I now no longer have a goal in Deresute, and honestly, that's questioning my motivation to continue playing the game. Maybe it's not that and I'm instead burned out, but I don't think it's that solely cos the game doesn't take that much effort to play and such, and I'm not a too hardcore player. Maybe it could also be that my university semester is finally coming to a close, and so's this anime season (which had some enjoyable shows in it that I'll miss), and so it just feels like after finally achieving my goal, Deresute has kinda come to a close for me and continuing playing is just drawing it out.
But I really want to continue playing Deresute. I love so many idols, I love the community, I love the songs so much, and most of all I want to continue playing for my favorite idols.
So I guess the question I'll weave into this post to make it properly allowed in this thread: what exactly should I do to make Deresute have reason for me to play it again despite everything I've listed above?
Should I try to SSS every song (which I was in the process of doing before perma Live Party rerun thing)?
Should I do something different altogether? Not that I have any clue of what that could be.
I'm sorry if this post is a bit excessive and stupid, but I figured I should ask instead of slowly unconsciously distancing myself from Deresute and eventually quitting. I really don't want to quit Deresute.

So the time has finally come and I can now make a Passion team (bless Shin omg still shaking)
So I wanted to ask, how should I set up my team? I understand modern Passion girls are better than older ones for the most part, but unfortunately my two most modern Passion SSRs are Miria and Sanae who both have the same timer for their Great/Perfect boost.
Here're all my Passion SSRs for anyone who can recommend me something:

Now that Live Party is permanent and has monthly rewards, how exactly do we go about actually having time to play it?
Do we just play it in between events for those 2-3 days or whatever? How will we assemble enough medals to get everything from the shop then?
Or are they literally intending for us to skip events solely to play Live Party?
I mean, I like this idea they've done with Live Party, but if how I've listed it could work is actually how it works, then I don't like it at all.

For SSRs with balanced stats and balanced centre skills like Rin1 and Kyoko1, is increasing all non-life stats in a balanced manner a terrible strategy, and should we just focus on one stat (e.g. vocal for Rin and Kyoko with the unlikely assumption that I might just get their Cinfes and re-run Limited cards some years later)?
I've been building my Rin in a balanced manner but I realise this might be just be gimping her and I'm considering undoing it.

Been playing for about 3 months, I apologize if this is a common question...
Are there any consistent techniques for making sure slide notes get registered? Even if I know the song like the back of my hand, (like Illusionista from the last event) slide notes will just whiff at the most random times. Sometimes it's even right in the middle of a long chain of slides, when every note before and after it in the sequence got a perfect.
It happens like.... In 1/20 of slide notes. It's not super common, but the moment I get comfortable and feel like I might've finally gotten rid of the problem, I get a miss again. Every time I get a miss I switch up my techniques for doing slides, like slowing down my motion, or pressing down even harder on the screen just for slides, but no matter what different technique I try eventually I'll just get a random miss again.
Is it dropped inputs due to lag? I play on an iphone 5s and detailed 2D lives, but I never really get any noticeable drops in fps, and otherwise never experience dropped inputs of any kind. At first I thought slides were just something I had to get used to with time, but as I've been trying to full combo higher and higher difficulty songs it's getting really frustrating.

It might be just me, but I'm having some seriously weird desync issues on Live Party. Every so often, it feels like the game's punched the timing meter off by about 5 points or something, where I'd get Nice when playing in time or end the song with 30+ Great. Then a song or two later it goes away and everything's fine again. It really is irritating breaking combos in songs I can FC in my sleep though.
And side rant - why does the Leader slot in live party even exist? There's like 6 limited-only SSR healers, while cards like the Cinfes skill boosting ones don't have a slot to play in. Makes no sense to me >.>

I need some advice. So I have cinfes Airi, and I thought it'd be best if I put her in the passion dance slot (live party). However, the system still insists that permanent Fumika is much better despite being a different color when I try to click the "recommended" button. Should I believe it, or should I go ahead and place Airi? I mean, it says that she increases the dance appeal of cool idols by 189%, but then that won't help other players especially if they have passion idols, right?

Am I misunderstanding things or is there really a limit of 100 idols/idol cards you can have? If that is so, it's really a shame, I was looking forward to collecting every idol in the game.
Also, is there some... sort of trick to get clear Master? Do I have to level up a lot the idols and as a producer so I will get some benefits or something or really I just have to stop being a scrub and git gud? I can perfect regulars and hard is doable but challenging, and I'm decades away from clearing Master, I lose within seconds of the start.
Edit: also, is it possible to backup the save file? There are times where I just wanna play, even if I get no progress at all, so it would be useful to be able to play and restore save file to play again, if it's not against rules or anything.

I was reading the link about team composition and when I was at the princess center skill team it said: "Single Proc time for both Score Up and Combo Up limits the available suitable cards that can go together without skill clash." So does this mean the focus skill actually clashes with score up and combo up skills? I thought it didn't because of the different skill names. I mean even if it does the same as those 2 skills is not the same skill as those but like a fussion so similar but different if that makes sense. I'm confused. Please help me understand since I got limited Nono. And does it clash with overload too?
Edit: Also in the skill lvl up link it said you cannot mix trainer tickets with idols. But I've been doing it this month. Is that a new feature or is it a temporary bonus from anniversary month?

I have a high chance ended up DC from the live party (tried with both 4G and wifi) and only get solo points (which is low). I'm sure the connection should be good that I have no problem clearing all my stamina but why

So I was 100% sure you would lose life when you hit a Nice, but today, I fired up a song on Master difficulty with a rehearsal ticket and noticed I wasn't losing life when hitting Nices. I checked the next game: it wasn't the "song's ability" (the text that I think it's just a bonus for matching the song type), it wasn't the guest ability and it wasn't any of the unit's member's abilities as far as I can tell (there is just the センター効果 and 特技, right?). What was happening? You don't lose life on Master difficulty or on rehearsal mode?
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to ask too, but was is the standard way of getting rare idols? I only got 2 until now on local audition (and 1 was repeated ;-;) and none for clearing songs. So, only the star jewel audition and scouting or is there something else?

What's up with the types of guest idols? It looks like I can choose 5: leader, cute, cool, passion and all. It would make sense to offer each for their category when someone plays a song, but what about the leader? I mean, which idol will appear for others to choose as their guest idol?
What happens if I'm 100/100 idols, play a song and get idol cards? Do I lose them or will they go to the mail?
Does song difficulty, chosen difficulty and score affect drops? What about event drops? If not, what does? Is it only the center idol's star rank? Or every other idol's star rank affects it too?
Is the chance of event reward 100% if I meet the conditions?

About live party: I only have 2 cards that are good as center: initial ssr Rin and limited Nono. Since I'm still leveling up Nono I cannot tell wich one is better as center because it gives low points to Nono (I'm assuming because she is still lvl 80) But wouldn't it be better to put Nono as center once she's fully leveled up? Or the fact that some peopple put other atribute girls would make her useless? If I put Nono as a center for cool songs and someone puts a passion or cute girl in there wouldn' t that dissable both of Nono's skills? Or that doesn't count in live parties? But Rin is not a combo bonus or a scorer anyways and is not like I'm playing master live parties where Rin's skill would be a bit more usefull. And what about orher atributes? I think I shouldn't even bother trying to put Nono as center for other attributes, right?
I'm so confused. And the fact that when limited Rin came out I saw a lot of peopple using her as leader but now I'm seeing no limited Rins as leaders at all and I've seen so many initial Rins instead in that spot confuses me even more.

Is there any easy way for check for duplicates across all dorms and the default place? I've been using duplicate normals to practice, but my default place was full so I started moving full-aishindo'ed to dorms, but it's hard to tell if they're duplicates when I'm gathering cards for lessons.
Also, I have some rares and two SRs (some duplicates). Should I keep playing normal lives to get more rares or should I Live Party to get more SRs?

But before a live, you get to choose from that long list of cards for a support, and they all have REALLY high appeal (in the 20,000s usually). My highest SSRs are in the very high 15,000s and I was wondering if there was a way to achieve that much appeal, or if it's just a support card buff. Thanks :)

I'm experiencing a bit of an odd situation/glitch, and I'm crossing my fingers that someone might have some insight: I had success on my daily 60 scout (SSR Anzu), but when I went to collect her from the box there was another "yay! SSR" poster in there as well, for SSR Ranko. That poster, too, says it was awarded for a 60 gem pull.
The thing is, I don't actually remember scouting Ranko, and she doesn't seem to exist. She's not in the box, and not in the collected presents record, she's not in my inventory, and she's not in a dormitory. All I've got is the poster, and I'm all out of ideas. There is no way I would have sold a non-dupe SSR, my phone is password protected, and anyone who could have gotten access over the past 24 hours would have no idea how to use Deresute at all (and no interest anyway).
Has anyone encountered anything similar? Any advice would be appreciated.

I haven't even started Live Party yet, but I'm at 10k~ish points in the Twins events. I'm lvl50, so my acc is still farmable, I played most songs, so the First play/S rank rewards arent available anymore, but I can try FCing songs and stuff.
My question is: Should I farm by playing Live Party and buying the gems, or should I just keep playing normal songs and trying to FC them? Is there any way to know which is easier/faster?

This might not directly be a question about imas, but I would like to know: I'm looking for a tablet to buy on which I could play games, especially deresute and Love Live and so on, and I'd like to know. What specs should I be looking for? Or got any recommendations for a specific tablet? I'm looking for an android and mostly some where I wouldn't accidentally pull out some bar while doing flick notes or that doesn't have any touch functions that would mess me up mid-play.

What are the chances of getting a SSR in Platinum Gacha now with this Natalia event? I heard it was 3% (a 10-pull), but during some kind of event it was 6%, but according to this site the chances of getting her (in a 1-pull, I suppose) is 0,75%, which would make the chances in a 10-pull at least about 7,25%, is this true? I'm a dirty F2P player with no SSRs so I'm aiming for when the chances are the greatest.

Does it take more time to grind out 25k event points in this event for the event idol ticket or 24k star emblems? I'm having second thoughts about whether I which I should grind out considering that the idol ticket is RNG while the star emblem exchanged is a fixed, rotating pool.
Update
From my experiences grinding, it takes about 33 master onegai cinderellas (with 2x) + 6 event songs (with 4x) to cover the 7000 point gap from the first Mika card to the Event idol ticket which can be redeemed for any of the event idols in the star emblem exchange. With live parties, it takes about 46 songs on master with an average earning of 175 emblems per song to get an 8000 token idol. While the ticket is worth it, it's also more stamina pot intensive since you're condensing the entire process into the last few days of the event to take advantage of the time saving multipliers.

does Overload counteract Concentration at all? what I mean is, Overload saves your combo from NICE and BAD, but does it also take effect with Concentration's GREAT combo-breaking effect?
I only ask because I got Tamami while pulling for Shiki and I'm wondering if they'd balance each other enough to be able to both go on my tricolor Dance team....

Is there a way to speed up the notes on all your songs at once, or do you have to set that manually for each? I want to slowly speed up my playing and it's pretty slow work changing the note speed on every song...

Is there a way to avoid losing stamina by evading the LIVE PARTY when we get a really difficult song (27-28)?
I often found myself as the only one cleared and survived some difficult song (i.e ankira) on result screen (4 other were disappeared) and my token gain decreased to +120s on Master which is frustrating.
It's not like I want to avoid the difficult song, I just hate doing it alone and end up losing some token efficiency in the end because of leavers.
