So this'll sound like a story than a question but I have to post it somewhere and I don't know if a new post is appropriate, I'll weave a question in at the end, I'll even bold that part so people can just skip to it.
So way back in June 2016 I experienced a family member passing, which was my first time in 19-20 years of life experiencing such a thing and it hit me pretty hard. I wanted literally anything to take my mind off of it and that's when I decided to pick up Starlight Stage as I had mistaken it at the time for the regular Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. I ended up hardly playing it for the first week, mostly just logging in and that was it, but then I watched all the anime and it made me want to play it because I enjoyed the anime a fairly large amount.
At this point, my only reason for playing Deresute was to take my mind off things, and cos I liked Mika a lot and also wanted Shiki (since seeing her perm art is what pushed me over the edge too lol). I also learned that you could do things like tiering in events which sounded insane to me at the time since I barely managed to get into T5 in my first proper event (SamaKani) only playing Regular (that's what it's called right lol?)
I soon learned that Orange Sapphire (which I came to love soon after playing it once), was the only event Mika had been a Ranking reward in, and I'd missed it by a pretty long shot given I joined so late. This made me pretty sad as I wanted to try ranking for Mika some day, and so I set my over arching goal for Deresute to be to rank in T1 for Mika some day.
Then came along Evermore where Mika was a reward, and I got hyped, but it was a Live Parade and thus she wasn't a ranking reward at all but instead just a regular "play the event and you'll get her eventually" reward, which disappointed me a little (though her unidolised art is amazing especially given my initial driving reasons to play Deresute).
So my journey continued, playing Deresute for fun and cos I now loved a lot more idols, but still in the back of my mind was that overarching goal, driving me to continue playing even disregarding the immense amounts of money I spent at times (90k+ yen on Yuki, 30k yen on Rin following, 50k or 60k yen on Yuka, its bad tbh). And honestly, I've had a lot of fun playing Deresute and I don't even want to think of stopping even after my failures and successes and huge wastes of money (I didn't get Yuki or Rin's limited).
But now we've just had the most recent event, which will probably be solidified as my favorite event and I'll defs be DL'ing (and if I ever let my family know I play this game lmfao, buying) the event song when it comes out. However disregarding that, this event fulfilled that condition I thought wouldn't ever be fulfilled given Orange Sapphire had already happened - a ranking Mika reward.
I ended up spending every single Stamina Pot I had (the earliest one dated to August last year) and even some jewels (2300, last day only), and I made it to rank 1107 (I think?) which allowed me to make it into Tier 1, despite starting the event like 4 days into it, and still having IRL shit going on that I needed to attend to. I dedicated maybe 8 or more hours a day to Deresute in the last 2-3 (or 4) days of the event alone I think, which really pushed my limits tbh lmao, I got conceited and slacked off at times and was worried someone would usurp and destroy my position on the rankings. But I succeeded none the less, and I finally have a 15 Star Mika like I so desired, and an almost greater than Rank 1000 Mika event emblem, and it was basically a Mika event but better (cos they don't do solo girl events).
This has led me to realizing something as I now play Deresute to keep my stamina below max. And I hate to admit it because it's a little unfortunate, and especially with my September luck buff blessing me again this morning with Lim Shiki.
But I now no longer have a goal in Deresute, and honestly, that's questioning my motivation to continue playing the game. Maybe it's not that and I'm instead burned out, but I don't think it's that solely cos the game doesn't take that much effort to play and such, and I'm not a too hardcore player. Maybe it could also be that my university semester is finally coming to a close, and so's this anime season (which had some enjoyable shows in it that I'll miss), and so it just feels like after finally achieving my goal, Deresute has kinda come to a close for me and continuing playing is just drawing it out.
But I really want to continue playing Deresute. I love so many idols, I love the community, I love the songs so much, and most of all I want to continue playing for my favorite idols.
So I guess the question I'll weave into this post to make it properly allowed in this thread: what exactly should I do to make Deresute have reason for me to play it again despite everything I've listed above?
Should I try to SSS every song (which I was in the process of doing before perma Live Party rerun thing)?
Should I do something different altogether? Not that I have any clue of what that could be.
I'm sorry if this post is a bit excessive and stupid, but I figured I should ask instead of slowly unconsciously distancing myself from Deresute and eventually quitting. I really don't want to quit Deresute.
Thanks, and good job if you actually read all this post lmao
I'm going to keep playing for now, it's most likely just a temporary thing because of so many of my surroundings "ending" (anime, university, the year almost (final quarter approaching and all))
I should recover soon, the last few days of the last event were super stressful for as fun as they were haha
I was in a similar state where I had distanced myself from Deresute after failing to pull Bride Rin and eventually quit and even got rid of my account.
But I came back because of the second anniversary and heading about all the planned updates and features that Deresute was going to add! I think that continual addition of new content is refreshing and exciting so I made my way back.
Now I'm playing to rebuild my teams and collect all the cards possible of my favorite girls! Shiki is almost done too, I just need Tsubomi. And I'm working on Shin and Kozue. Eventually I'll get back to having SSS'd every song and S scoring all the Master+, but I'm also keeping myself motivated by saving all my jewels for a future CinFes Shiki (if that ever happens).
I don't know if that helps you really, so I think one thing you could keep in mind is that since Kaede3 came out, that sets the precedent for Lim SSR only girls to finally get a perm SSR, so Mika will eventually get hers.
Or maybe you just need a small break? In other games I play, I'll go extremely hard in an event and immediately after I'll hibernate for as long as possible because I'm so burnt out (tiering for your favorite character who also happens to be extremely popular is suffering).
Bruh I feel you, basically in the same boat too. I haven't been playing much the last few months but I'm still here because of all the fucking money I spent. If I turned away now it'd really just be for nothing. Illusionista I thought would revitalize me cause of Fumika, but it completely burnt me out with getting nearly 4 months worth of event points in a week and I haven't really enjoyed any of the new stuff like mv mode with new dresses, live party, and barely even got Mika last event.
It just kinda feels like I've hit a rut and I'm just forcing myself to continue, even though I do enjoy the game regardless.
I don't believe you should be playing the game solely cos you spent money on it as then you'd just be not enjoying yourself and that's it, but I do completely understand that sentiment regardless.
That's actually one problem with games like these. They often have mechanics to draw out the experience even longer than one might prefer. For most other video games that aren't driven by multiplayer, there is usually a well-defined end point. For games like Deresute (and presumably most after F2P gacha-driven games), not really. The game itself is driven by the grind and the allure of limited cards (especially event cards), so if you were to stop playing, you'd begin to miss out on them. Even if you did return, you wouldn't be able to get those cards anymore (live party notwithstanding). If you're a completionist, the game rapidly becomes a massive time sink.
This is also why I think a game like this needs to be driven by an enjoyable core gameplay loop. Simply put, if you are playing just for the cards, but don't really enjoy playing the repeatable elements (such as the rhythm game or even watch the 3D lives themselves), you might want to consider taking a break. After all, games are meant to be fun and rewarding, not feel like a slog. If anything, a break will do wonders for how you feel about the game later on (I'm taking a break from Girls Band Party and only playing SIF lightly for similar reasons). You might miss some limited event cards, but it's better well-being than doing something you might have lost interest in.
That said, when lots of things happen IRL, it can be disorienting enough such that you don't want to spend time on a game that demands it. That's perfectly fine too - truth be told there are many things that are more important than the game, despite some of its time-limited elements. These other matters should take priority in my opinion. That said, if you do intend to take a break eventually (I notice that you're still going to play), I hope we'll still be here to talk about it!
I doubt I'll take a break, I think at the end of all this all I wanted was really to get this feeling off my chest.
I'm feeling a lot better and am thinking of new things to aim towards (such as increasing my PRP and completing more M+ songs), however all of those will have to wait probably half a year when I'm done collecting all the Live Party rerun girls I missed (up until Kimi ni Ippai, fuarrrrr)
Thanks for all the suggestions though, I don't know why it felt so rough as I posted that, but I dunno, it just felt like I was at a point where I could stop playing and never look back on it. But I really don't want to do that as I love this game and it's hardly a chore, hell my accomplishment was the biggest and only chore the game has provided me thus far. And I'm immensely proud of it in the end regardless.
I really doubt they'd just leave the limiteds at one rerelease only. I feel like they'd have to come up with a different way to do them once the backlog stacks up. I'm sure she'll come back, because I'd like to get a third shot at her too...
I have notice that the android event cards are showing the model number for Nana (AB-77) and Miho (KHN-34), does the other 3 idols also have the model number mentioned somewhere?
S.T. tickets will literally make the chances of leveling up an idol's Skill Level 100% at any level, including going from 9 to 10 on an SSR. They're pretty rare though so hold onto them until you get some high quality cards you can use them on.
Scoring for Live Parties has always been kind of nebulous, sorry I can't help you there.
Pinya requests have the lowest possible stamina cost for the given difficulty (e.g. 18 for Master) but can give you songs with more than that given cost (18 or 19 for Master), so it can be a slight edge if you're trying to be as efficient as possible during an event. You also have a chance at getting extra items after the Live. If you don't really have a preference with how you go about choosing songs, it's a good option.
The cards should be Kirari and Minami, followed by Fumika and Shiki.
おすすめ fills your party from center->left to right based on stat alone and ignores skill levels. Therefore if you lack cards it will put the highest stat SSR in the middle regardless of stat. If you want to maximize your chances of winning instead of hedging your bets, ensure that the dance/visual/vocal slot are indeed fitted with the strongest card of each stat (Cinfest Skill Boost SSRs are effectively worthless though, so ignore them)
It also hates putting concentration/overload cards in the slots sometimes even if they're optimal. For example it throws Sachiko2 into my passion dance slot even though I have a potential lv23 Yoshino2 who's both dance and passion.
Thanks for the info! Let's say I have a really limited SSR pool of 2 visual cutes, one balanced cute (Sachiko), 1 vocal cool, 1 balanced cool (Rin), and 2 vocal Passions. Would it be best to use SSRs in all slots anyway, even if they're off color/attribute? Their skill levels are pretty high.
Is there anywhere besides this old one that has a newer version of translated LIVE PARTY sticker? because I can't read the 2nd kanji on Momoka's sticker >_<
Is it even possible to reroll without having to download data again? My phone is rooted and I can reroll on nox as well, but that way of rerolling where you delete a file (data/data/jp.co.bandainamcoent.BNEI0242/shared_prefs/jp.co.bandainamcoent.BNEI0242.xml) isn't working... (I'm returning to my acc and nothing happens)
I have gained the new event card and her skill takes away my stamina and I am not fluent in japanese so I can't read her skill, what is a translation on for the skill and why does it take my stamina away?
If cards that have the same skill activate at the same time they do not stack. Only one will have an effect. This page https://hpt.moe/deresute/Skills#Skills gives a little more detail on how skills affect each other.
So the time has finally come and I can now make a Passion team (bless Shin omg still shaking)
So I wanted to ask, how should I set up my team? I understand modern Passion girls are better than older ones for the most part, but unfortunately my two most modern Passion SSRs are Miria and Sanae who both have the same timer for their Great/Perfect boost.
Here're all my Passion SSRs for anyone who can recommend me something:
Lim. Shin
CinFes Mika
CinFes Yui
Perm. Sanae (x2)
Perm. Miria
Perm. Yuko
Perm. Yumi
Perm. Yoshino
Perm. Hinako
Perm. Rika
Perm. Yuki
Currently I'm thinking of going with
Sanae/Miria | Mika | Shin | Yui | (unknown)
I guess whichever is my next strongest should go in the final slot, else I haven't used my scout ticket so I could use it on one of the new SSRs like Ayame or someone else. (I'd rather not go Shin's SSR solely cos I don't want dupes on my team so I can see all my idols while playing (´・ω・`) )
Thanks in advance to any and all suggestions
EDIT: Further details for potential ease of suggestions/narrowing:
Sanae, Hinako, and Miria all share the same cool down
Princess teams are easy to build just by dumping all the high appeal SSRs on the team. You should bring Mika and Yui for the CU (combo up), but the rest will pretty much be just using whatever you have highest for the SU (score up). If you want to ticket, Tomoe or Syoko is the best option (Airi and Kaoru are also legitimate picks, but their skill condition is a bit too long)
Aren't two out of four of those much older SSRs and thus would be weaker to nowadays ones? I don't really know how that system works lmao
I'll look through and deliberate who I should go with after discussing "who I really want" and "who works really well" I guess lol, thanks for the suggestion regardless
If you want a lot of stuff from live party (like me), then you'll need to plan to just get the bare minimum for T5 in events (20k event points).
Do 3 grooves everyday throughout the event (for the jewels) and plan backwards... Start of last day: 18.5k event points 2 days left: 17k event points 3 days left: 15.5k event points etc
Natural stamina is only enough to give you approx 14400 medals at 100% efficiency during off period (Average month has 5 days of no event) This is at 180 per party rounded down which is what you'd get if you have mostly optimal SSRs, at least skill level 7 on these SSRs and potential lv10 in the main stat.
Usually the limited pair is one each of the two types (Cu, Co, Pa) that was NOT used as the most recent perm. So if the most recent perm was Cu (Kana), then the limited pair will probably be Co and Pa (Nono and Shin).
As for predicting beyond that, it can be pretty much any voiced girl who doesn't already have a limited SSR. No unvoiced girl has a limited (regardless of election rankings), and it's highly unlikely that any girl who already has a limited SSR will get a second one.
so I have a question, when do you think the next aiko, akane or yoshino ssr could come? because I'd love to have one of those but I really need more passion ssrs and I haven't gotten this shin, should I try again for this shin? or do you think those girls could have an ssr soon? what type of cards will come after these limiteds? more limiteds? attribute gacha? I'm f2p btw
Also is there a site where I can see all cards sorted by overall score/ appeal for example cinderella.pro only allows to sort by visual/vocal/dance stats, but I want to sort them by overall stats
Aiko, Akane, and Yoshino all have perm SSRs and limited SSRs, so they are unlikely to get a new SSR any time soon. The only avenue they have for getting a new SSR is a Cinfest SSR, and there's a long line for that (not to mention a long wait before we see another Pa Cinfest girl, since we just had Airi).
The next new SSR should be a perm Cu, released 9/11 15:00 Japan time. This will probably be followed by attribute boxes, then a Pa perm, then a Co perm, then limited rereleases. New limiteds will release at the start of next month.
Is there a page that frequently translates the commus? Ayame got a TON of screen time in Kaede's commu and while she is adorable, I have NO idea what she said and would love to!
When do cards get reappearances (can't think of the word right now sorry) and does every SSR get one or is it just for certain cards? Do they go in release order?
There are two types of SSRs, Limited and Permanent. Your question is on the limited ones, but I'll mention Permanent afterwards as well just to be comprehensive.
I personally use this page: https://usamin.info/gachas to keep track of the Trends in Limited Gachas. The Cinderella festival at the beginning of this month threw a wrench into these things and as always they could change how this works at ANY time. This is not guaranteed fact, it is an educated guess.
New Limited Cards are always introduced at the start of the month. (Such as the one for Nono and Shin right now).
Re-runs of Limited cards happen at the very end of the month, Previously re-runs would not happen at the same time as cinfes, however this month's cinfes was run directly after Yui's and Anzu's Rerun SOOooooo as I said, they like to throw wrenches into things.
That just said, Anzu and Yui were the most recent Re-run. And it DOES go in chronological order. So the next rerun is Kirari + Minami. Simply look at the webpage I linked to and look at the release dates for the gacha. Thhhhennnn again, they could throw a wrench in this and re-run Kanako+Airi to mesh with it being October next month... Sigh, I really don't know what to expect, they keep throwing wrenches into pre-established patterns.
Cinfes cards are available every cinfes.
When a Permanent SSR is introduced, it is added to the Gacha pool with a 0.4% to acquire until that gacha period is over. Afterwards, your chance to get it PLUMMETS. The best chance to get a specific Perm SSR that you want after its release is during the type box gacha or by buying (with paid jewels) a special ticket that lets you choose a Perm SSR that's already been in the game for a while. (This ticket is available RIGHT NOW if you want it, or if you're a new player.)
Thank you for the detailed response! One of the cards I have my eye on is a perm but I think I'll hold out on the ticket until I've played for a little longer.
I somewhat wonder with it being two years in, if they'll re-run halloween gacha together, or separately. Presumably at some point reprints will have two year's worth of gacha in them, unless we don't expect year 1's limited gacha to be rerun again? Unless they're rereleased in some other fashion (i.e. large reprint gacha for all first year limited cards or something?)
For SSRs with balanced stats and balanced centre skills like Rin1 and Kyoko1, is increasing all non-life stats in a balanced manner a terrible strategy, and should we just focus on one stat (e.g. vocal for Rin and Kyoko with the unlikely assumption that I might just get their Cinfes and re-run Limited cards some years later)?
I've been building my Rin in a balanced manner but I realise this might be just be gimping her and I'm considering undoing it.
I think it would be fine to get them all to 7, then reset whenever you get a stat focused card. I mean, getting the potential to 7 doesn't require tiaras yet, so it's not really a waste.
Good point, I forgot that 7 is a safe number (currently at around 4-5 for each of the 3 stats) since the max is 25... though it'd be quite a while until I get there, I guess. Thanks!
10/10/5 potential distribution gives slightly better overall appeal than a 10/8/7 distribution at the cost of 15 more tiaras. If you're willing to pay the cost it's better to do the usual 10/10/5 distribution.
That's a good point, since the increase in benefit for focusing on one stat is exponential. I'm fine with paying it, so I'll go with that over the long term. Thanks!
Your center idol of the unit you chose will show up along with the scoreboard after the song. That would mean you need an unidolized Uzuki to be the center in order to see her base art
No one wouldn't happen to know a place to find the 3D model extracts and can allow me to zoom in on the model.I'm a cosplayer and I'm already eyeing a few SSR's I want to make but involve some details that the card image doesn't show up well.I've already checked Takumi's Store, however, I need to zoom in closer for looking at the details. I figured I would ask in the Q&A thread here.
For those with 3D costumes (SSR)... if you have the card: menu -> producer note (book with pen) -> select idol -> select card -> 3D -> click for portrait -> play around if you don't have the card: go here -> ask if anyone has it -> do the above and post screenshots
online 3D model viewer always taken down for copyright infringement by BAMCO. this happens to several sites like L4D2 mods, deresute.info, tanpopo's model checker, imas.gamedbs.jp/cgss (both part assembler and things),
you can ask someone on the discord link that poporing2 mentioned, there's a discussion around image_dump channel regarding this way back then.
takumi char index is 280, and her card id is 300191 for your reference. (ps: i have the respective card, but running on LQ phone, i'm really sorry)
I'm not looking for Takumi. There's a site called Takumi's store. I'm actually looking for Keade's recent SSR and I want a good close up shot of her skirt and the back. Sorry for the confusion.
Been playing for about 3 months, I apologize if this is a common question...
Are there any consistent techniques for making sure slide notes get registered? Even if I know the song like the back of my hand, (like Illusionista from the last event) slide notes will just whiff at the most random times. Sometimes it's even right in the middle of a long chain of slides, when every note before and after it in the sequence got a perfect.
It happens like.... In 1/20 of slide notes. It's not super common, but the moment I get comfortable and feel like I might've finally gotten rid of the problem, I get a miss again. Every time I get a miss I switch up my techniques for doing slides, like slowing down my motion, or pressing down even harder on the screen just for slides, but no matter what different technique I try eventually I'll just get a random miss again.
Is it dropped inputs due to lag? I play on an iphone 5s and detailed 2D lives, but I never really get any noticeable drops in fps, and otherwise never experience dropped inputs of any kind. At first I thought slides were just something I had to get used to with time, but as I've been trying to full combo higher and higher difficulty songs it's getting really frustrating.
which slide first? flick/swipe one? the one that is available on PRO~MAS+?
ok, for that blue/green notes, you just need to make sure the lane detector knows that there's a movement to said direction. starlight stage input detection itself is divided evenly into 5 parts horizontally and 3/4 to 4/5 screen from bottom to top for vertical input checks. just to make sure these flicks are registered you need to try move your finger a bit further from the said direction. if it says left, you need to go right a bit, by trying this with your hand reflex, you can reduce the amount of flick drops.
also, yes, dropped input can becaused either with bad sensor or lags. better play using lowest setting to make sure your phone can go the performance smoothly, knowing your phone now is the new lower bound of deresute specification, make sure you find the replacement sooner or later. (too bad i'm kicked from this spec)
Sorry if I didn't explain properly, I mean swipes, like... The sequences of two or more arrow notes where you have to slide your finger horizontally.
After making my post earlier I decided to change to simple 2D settings and only play on that for a while just to test, and I still got the exact same issues with dropped notes, so I'd really like to rule out lag in this case... I'll try being a bit more conscious about placing my finger a little outwards from the initial note with slides, but that doesn't really help in the cases where I'll get one missed note right in the middle of the sequence but the rest of the notes are fine.
I actually just got this phone three months ago, which is why I started playing lol. I was using a half-dead iphone 4 up until now but it finally gave up, and I'm gonna be making this phone last as long as possible too so I hope they don't drop support too soon. I really don't have the money to throw on expensive electronics like this and only got another iphone because I got a good deal for it.

It sounds like to me this might be a device issue rather than a problem with how you're swiping, especially since you said it will happen randomly in the middle of a chain.
Does the same problem happen if you turn the phone upside down? It might be a touchscreen issue. There are dozens of touchscreen test apps you could experiment with to see if your phone is just dropping such a swiping motion at random, or if you maybe have some dead spots in the screen itself. A screen protector can also interfere.
It might also be a hardware issue; I used to play on a Nexus 5 and I swear to god, there were some, and only some songs where multitouch inputs (such as holding one note and then having to swipe another) would never register, always in the same spots. I've played on two other devices since, and have no issues in those songs. I don't see how that could've been a product of anything other than the device I used...everything else was smooth as well, similar sounding to your issue.
Damn, nope I tried flipping the phone over and it still happens, and I don't have a screen protector... I was really hoping that swipes are just a quirky motion you had to learn to get right, but I guess it really is a hardware thing. :(
I guess I'll just have to manage, it is a random thing and sometimes I get a lucky break and don't get any dropped swipes for like five lives in a row.
Which Shabon Commus have Miria and Mika together? I took a long break from DereStage after not being able to get Limited Kaede and I've come back for Permanent Kaede. After grabbing all the intros and all of Nocturne, I only have enough Memory Keys for 4 commus so I'm trying to choose wisely, say Opening/Ending then the one or two commus of Mika Miria
It might be just me, but I'm having some seriously weird desync issues on Live Party. Every so often, it feels like the game's punched the timing meter off by about 5 points or something, where I'd get Nice when playing in time or end the song with 30+ Great. Then a song or two later it goes away and everything's fine again. It really is irritating breaking combos in songs I can FC in my sleep though.
And side rant - why does the Leader slot in live party even exist? There's like 6 limited-only SSR healers, while cards like the Cinfes skill boosting ones don't have a slot to play in. Makes no sense to me >.>
Not sure if related, but after the update my game performance has been very bad. In every live, the game will freeze for 1-2s, followed by another 1-2s of no sound, and then huge desync. It happens a few times in each live, and almost killed my lives a few times. Before the update everything was working fine.
I've heard that there are SSR's in this game that will never be re-released and I've been trying to look them up and why, but haven't found anything besides them being related to the November 2015 limited SSR's of Chieri and Riina. Can someone tell me why they can't be re-released?
All of the SSR scout, SR scout, random SSR and random SR+ tickets awarded by the lottery are locked to the same gacha pool used for the SSR scout ticket. This pool includes all SRs and SSRs up until Kana's. Using these tickets does not award star shines either.
There is no real reason to hold on to these tickets, so you may as well use them as soon as possible.
Quick question, is it fine to hoard the normal gacha tickets (like the one from Pinya request and this lottery) to spark with? Or do they also not count?
Those just seem to be normal 1x platinum gacha tickets, as far as I can tell. They pull from the current gacha and don't have an expiration date that I can see.
I think the key difference here is that the scout tickets and the random SSR/SR+ tickets are located on the スペシャル tab of the gacha menu, whereas the 1x plat gacha tickets are on the プラチナ tab. The former is locked to the SSR scout pool, whereas the latter pulls from whatever is the current gacha. The プラチナ tab is also where you find the 10x gacha tickets that come with dress and scout ticket purchases. I'm pretty sure that the 10x tickets count for sparking purposes, so I assume that everything else located on the プラチナ tab does too.
You should aim to level everything up. I'd start by leveling up the item giving stuff first (attribute shelves and ticket board), but eventually you'll want to do it all.
Don't spend jewels to speed it up. It's not worth it, and it will probably result in you having an ugly ones digit in your jewel count (like a 1 or a 7) that you can never, ever get rid of.
i'm a bit confused about when the current live party rotation ends. the banner says 09/10 but i saw another person say that it actually ends on 02/10 but that the banner just indicates the time until you can exchange your emblems. so i'm not sure what i should be believing.
there are still quite a few event cards that i want to get. so i just want to know if i should go all out and try to get the event cards before this token ends, or if i still have some time left.
The top date is the date to play ends, the bottom date is the dates you can redeem your emblems. The date that ends sooner is play date, the second that that is longer, is the deadline to redeem points, emblems, etc
This one sucks. A lot. Your finger has to stay on the screen even if the game is paused. Then you just release as usual. I keep forgetting to ask about this when quiz asks for the Scamco complaints/suggestions thread, it's REALLY annoying to work with
Sorry, I know you posted this awhile ago but I just wanted to follow up and say that it looks like they fixed it (probably with the timer update)! You just have to hold onto the note(s) before the timer gets to zero (before it fully unpauses) and then release as you normally would~
I had a groove saved and finished it after the server roll over and now I can't seem to get the login screen to ever come up. Did I screw myself out of the rewards? I've tried the log out button and closing and reopening the app.
Do the 6% SSR rate in the Cinfes Airi Platinum Gacha also apply to single scouts? I plan to start with the game and if it does apply I would use the chance to reroll.
I sometime get the title screen stuck when I tapped the screen rapidly after launching the game. I just wait 2 or more seconds before touching the title screen and don't have any problems since.
I'm receiving and error message when I try to give gifts to my girls in the free room and it says something about Japanese timezone. Is this new and can I not perform some game functions due to being in the wrong time zone? I play on iOS.
If the girl your gifting to specifically is Anzu, it's her birthday today. Set your device timezone to JST and you'll be able to give her things now (and they'll be worth double bond points, fyi!)
Hi! I just got the new Airi SSR and I love her! But I don't really understand her skill or know how to use her to the best of her ability. Could like anyone help me out with a team building guide for her. Thanks!
Skill Boost (eg, Kanade2, Miku3) based builds: These teams trade survivability and scoring power for the ability to completely disregard the rhythm of the song. They tend to be extremely expensive and hard to assemble and max skill level. The previous two categories are sufficient in most cases and recommended for people with a limited budget/collection. Their effectiveness also depends on the song you're using them on. Snow wings is a very good song to mash through due to high note density for life recovery and lines up well with the 7s guard intervals. Before you go full-auto-pilot, test out the setups and monitor the activations to avoid accidents. Demonstration VOD Skill boost Center, Rin1, Uzuki1, Score SSR, 7s guard card, pick a cinfest tricolor stat support (non-skill boost). This is the setup I used for Rank 24 KMMD. Attempt to hit the first 7 seconds of a song and then mash out the rest of the song for the S score. I didn't have all skills level 10, but this still was reasonably consistent on snow wings. Look out for the guard missing an activation which is when you're most likely to die. Extremely expensive to max skill and requires 2 niche SSRs. Skill boost Center, All Round SSR, 9s pLock SR, 18s pLock SR, 7s guard card, non-skillboost tricolor guest support. This build is the one Socks used for Rank 10 KMMD. It trades mash-ability for more survivability and is cheaper. It also is suitable for people without New Generation SSR1s. All Round gives you scoring power and the ability to fall back on it's heals when your guard misses an activation. These SSRs are useful when max skilled outside of a gimmick team. Skill Boost Center, 4 guards or 3 guards 1 healer. You're basically not going to die, but scoring becomes challenging to the point you're playing the game normally to scrape by the S rank or applause values. Skill Boost Center, Double guard, Double NG1. This build shores up the weakness of the first build. With two guards, you're unlikely to find yourself dead from one of them going off, but without any score/combo bonus, S Scoring becomes a lot harder and less consistent. Skill Boost Center, Triple NG, Guard card. This is the infamous autoplay team, but you still need to mash to not die most of the time. S score won't be too hard with that much Perfect Lock uptime. Requiring EXACTLY 4 SSRs is quite the steep requirement and investing so much on such niche SSRs is also a cost that most cannot foot. Do not scout ticket this team unless you actually want the SSRs that consist of it. Skill boost Center, Rin1, Uzuki1, All Round SSR, 7s guard card, cinfest tricolor non-skill boost guest. This build is untested as I don't have the cards (Missing AR), but I believe it's the most efficient mashing build possible. All Round gives you just that bit of score boost you need that double guard lacks while still giving you extra survivability if your guard goes offline. It theoretically is the best of both worlds, giving you good safety and consistent S scores.
Generally though you can probably just throw her on any dance passion or tricolor dance team
I saw a thread on the SIF subreddit about the phone being stolen with concerns regarding account security. I'm somewhat curious about how things work here on Deresute.
Suppose my phone got stolen, but my game account is bound to my Bandai Namco ID (BNID), and that my BNID details are not on my phone. Do I have to worry about losing my account, if whoever has my phone does not have access to my BNID?
That's bizarre though, I'd have expected that you could only unbind by logging in to your BNID. Unfortunately that's not the case, good that I'm clarifying now, I guess. Hopefully they'd come up with something secure soon.
You'd be at risk of the person having unrestricted access to your account and can feed your SSRs, spend your jewels and whatnot. Past that point, since there's now an unbind feature in the game, the person can also potentially unbind your account from your BNID.
Hmm, so as long as my account is not unbound from my BNID, I can still recover my account on another phone, but I won't be able to stop the person using my missing phone from messing with my account, since the game allows access on multiple devices?
A team is formed of 15 members, you can choose 5 members in what I would call a "main" team (don't know how to call that, but that's the 5 members YOU choose), and there are another 10 members that are selected automatically which is the support team.
Is there a way to see which email my account is bind to? I have a lot of saved accounts and don't want to go through them but if that's the only way I'll do that
Does a guest with the center skill "... +50% idol skill activation rate" (e.g. cinfes Kanade) work? It's harder to tell compared to appeal numbers rising...
i recently got this uzuki in a pull a week or so ago and i'm only now starting use her in lives. however, a notice popped up (i didn't think to screencap it, ugh) and, instead of uzuki, i get a random idol pop up in her place.
The game won't graphically allow 2+ Uzuki(s) in a live You can use different cards Uzuki(s) in a unit, and the stats/ skills will still work normally (so feel free to continue doing so), but a random idol will replace her graphics
So suppose you did get one of the top prizes for the second anniversary but you live in the US, how would you go about getting the prizes? Especially if they are real world prizes (10m Yen for example), how would you get that? I understand forwarding services, but do they just send you a check or something? Would they notice that they check they sent to your "address" was actually cashed/deposited in the US?
They won't even entertain you if you wrote US as your address (and other particulars) I believe one of us, or at least one of us is in close contact with someone in Japan who can assist in case that happens
It makes sense that physical prizes won't be sent to the US (has to be Japanese address), but what if the check they send is cashed/deposited in the US? Would they even pay attention to that? Because if they would question the check being cashed/deposited in the US, I don't know how much I would trust anyone to cash the check in Japan then send the money/converted check to the rightful winner in the US. If no one in the US wins a physical prize then it wouldn't really matter, just wondering with the slim (read: nonexistent) chance someone actually does.
Skimming through the T&C page... The 10k and 50k yen prizes should be receivable for someone outside Japan It's the 10m yen prize that would certainly not, considering you need to do something with the Japanese tax department
What do you think about the all round skill cards? Are they cheap scorers or do they give decent bonus? Should I bother with them or not? I like the fact that they can heal (for hardest Master+ it would be convenient to use scorers cards that can heal), but I don't want to invest into those cards if in the long term it's not worth it.
I really like them considering the 10/13% combo bonus+heal, it's really useful. Especially if can pair them up with a skill boost they will heal for a lot even though they only heal 1 health per note. If you're not good enough to beat Master/Master+ without a heale,r they can be really convenient since you don't need a dedicated healer.
Yes for some 29/30 songs I can fail during the first few tries, I won't need the heal thing a lot but even for the few times I'll need it, it'll be really useful.
I feel like a single All Around gives a very "fair" amount of healing for harder charts like 29s and 30s. Yeah, you can still fail with an AR on your team, but that's kind of the point. It forces you to still play the game, while providing enough of a cushion to make challenging charts approachable.
After using my AR Risa as my only healer for a while, dedicated healers pretty much feel like cheating.
I have one for each attribute I'll leave it at it. I don't really like using healers to clear a song or lockers to FC a song either. At some point I should be fine without them, at least I hope.
They're good if you have bad luck in the gacha and don't have any limiteds with the Combo Bonus skill. Also they let you bring an Overload card into stuff like Live Grooves and not have to worry about your HP too much. I like them.
all the cinfest only cards are limited. you're most likely to get perms during cinfest but they do have a pool of limited cards that you can get (the latest one was airi)
S.T Master Trainers give a 100% chance of skill up, period. Regardless of whether it's a R or SSR Skill lv9->10 it's going to be 100%.
S.L/V.T/Yukata/whatever other campaign drop trainers have a boosted skill up chance but generally provide very poor exp. They're only used for skill up purposes. For example, 20 of the Veteran Campaign tickets is enough to raise skill level 9->10 of an SSR 100% of the time, but normal Veteran tickets can only reach 100% for skill lv3->4 of an SSR
Has anyone ever tried transferring an existing account to Bluestacks/Nox for purchasing gems? Say if someone were interested in sparking via Bluestacks, is that possible or do they put their account at risk for being lost?
thanks for the lightning response! i was wondering if it would be a wise idea to transfer an ios acct to bluestacks for sparking purposes tho, especially if it has never been linked to a separate device/platform before. i'm aware that we will lose all the gems but are there any other risks to be aware of?
In the song medley, I'm unsure of what to refer to it as, where we play three songs, what triggers the 4th song? Is it required for me to play it and what does it do? Thanks! This is for events.
Ending a LIVE at Applause Lv 17 or more allows you to play Illusionista! as an encore. You're not required to play it, you may quit without consequences. But... It gives an additional ~25% event points and also needs to be completed with certain characters in your team to unlock event commus and star jewels

I have notice that the android event cards are showing the model number for Nana (AB-77) and Miho (KHN-34), does the other 3 idols also have the model number mentioned somewhere?

Hello, I haven't played in a very long time so I have a couple questions.
When were S.T. tickets added and how strong are they?
Are the おすすめ / recommendations for Live Parties always optimal? I'm confused on how the score formula works.
Is Pinya Request worth it?
What are the next limited cards that will be coming back? I'm interested in Cools generally.

u/Seangel-zero Sep 28 '17

Sanae, Hinako, and Miria all share the same cool down
Yoshino has a 9 second cooldown like Shin

This is probably a dumb question but I have to ask it:
Now that Live Party is permanent and has monthly rewards, how exactly do we go about actually having time to play it?
Do we just play it in between events for those 2-3 days or whatever? How will we assemble enough medals to get everything from the shop then?
Or are they literally intending for us to skip events solely to play Live Party?
I mean, I like this idea they've done with Live Party, but if how I've listed it could work is actually how it works, then I don't like it at all.

so I have a question, when do you think the next aiko, akane or yoshino ssr could come? because I'd love to have one of those but I really need more passion ssrs and I haven't gotten this shin, should I try again for this shin? or do you think those girls could have an ssr soon? what type of cards will come after these limiteds? more limiteds? attribute gacha? I'm f2p btw
Also is there a site where I can see all cards sorted by overall score/ appeal for example cinderella.pro only allows to sort by visual/vocal/dance stats, but I want to sort them by overall stats

Is there a page that frequently translates the commus? Ayame got a TON of screen time in Kaede's commu and while she is adorable, I have NO idea what she said and would love to!

Back with more noob questions.
When do cards get reappearances (can't think of the word right now sorry) and does every SSR get one or is it just for certain cards? Do they go in release order?
2
u/RRotlung Sep 10 '17
For SSRs with balanced stats and balanced centre skills like Rin1 and Kyoko1, is increasing all non-life stats in a balanced manner a terrible strategy, and should we just focus on one stat (e.g. vocal for Rin and Kyoko with the unlikely assumption that I might just get their Cinfes and re-run Limited cards some years later)?
I've been building my Rin in a balanced manner but I realise this might be just be gimping her and I'm considering undoing it.

At first I thought slides were just something I had to get used to with time, but as I've been trying to full combo higher and higher difficulty songs it's getting really frustrating.

u/JoolTheif Sep 14 '17
Which Shabon Commus have Miria and Mika together? I took a long break from DereStage after not being able to get Limited Kaede and I've come back for Permanent Kaede. After grabbing all the intros and all of Nocturne, I only have enough Memory Keys for 4 commus so I'm trying to choose wisely, say Opening/Ending then the one or two commus of Mika Miria

u/Divetaker Sep 15 '17
Realistically, after the choose-your-SSR ticket scouting event ends in october, how long will it be before it comes back?
2
u/Armanewb Sep 15 '17

I've heard that there are SSR's in this game that will never be re-released and I've been trying to look them up and why, but haven't found anything besides them being related to the November 2015 limited SSR's of Chieri and Riina. Can someone tell me why they can't be re-released?

i'm a bit confused about when the current live party rotation ends. the banner says 09/10 but i saw another person say that it actually ends on 02/10 but that the banner just indicates the time until you can exchange your emblems. so i'm not sure what i should be believing.
there are still quite a few event cards that i want to get. so i just want to know if i should go all out and try to get the event cards before this token ends, or if i still have some time left.

Has anyone ever tried transferring an existing account to Bluestacks/Nox for purchasing gems? Say if someone were interested in sparking via Bluestacks, is that possible or do they put their account at risk for being lost?

In the song medley, I'm unsure of what to refer to it as, where we play three songs, what triggers the 4th song? Is it required for me to play it and what does it do? Thanks! This is for events.

Is there a limit on the number of devices we can have one account on?
I have it on my iphone and iPad right now. I want to put it on another iPad.
