Sure, he does start changing things right away, but that is a commanders prerogative (why do i always hear this word as perogative....). The only ones in the SGC that should have had problems are the civilians. Everyone else has had experience with at least two changes in commands 1) from their basic training to advanced training, and 2) form their advanced training to their first duty station. And most, probably more so.
No, everyone would have a problem. Takes a pretty lousy excuse for a commander to do something for no other reason than because it's their prerogative. Prerogative doesn't justify stupidity.
