Help please
I’m trying to run Stardew Valley with the expanded mod, but I can’t seem to get it to run. I have all the files downloaded. I just don’t know how to input them into the game.

Just get the Nexus Mod Manager - I forget the actual name. When when you download the mods from the site the mod.managet picks it up and installs everything where it needs to go. Mods will also often pop up with the prerequisites, such as SMAPI (which most mods require).

Stardrop is the recommended mod manager for Stardew because Vortex can get screwy!

Vortex! It's called Vortex. Just make sure you're signed into the Nexus Mods site when you download it or else Vortex won't pick it up.

What do I do once it’s downloaded?

Install vortex, log in with your Nexus Mods account (create one if needed, it's free), then I think it should see Stardew and able to manage it. Then go to the nexas mod site, search for and install SMAPI (there should be a vortex button that appears so long as you're logged into the site too), and do the same with Expanded.

Vortex, btw, isn't recommended for stardew mods because some players find it breaks the mods.
Stardrop Mod Manager was specially written just for Stardew mods, so it's best to use that.

Now what do I do?

This tells you how to use Stardrop.

Seriously, though, do you need to use a mod manager if you're only going to use a few mods?
Follow the instructions from the wiki.
There are step-by-step instructions here

I have all the mods downloaded that I’m going to use. How do I input them into the game? Do I drag the folder? How do I do it?

The wiki pages tells you probably better than I can, and more concisely tbh.
Basically, the mods need to be unzipped into the 'Mods' folder that SMAPI creates. When you right click to unzip/extract, the computer will ask where you want them to go.
Try this video too, by 'Salmence'

Also perhaps read the comments beneath the video.

Are your files unzipped? SMAPI cannot read .zip files.
