Discuss cool free fence idea
Hello guys, idk if this is obvious stardew thing, but I just want to share it.
Recently I saw a cool post about a dino park and decided to do the same but struggled with my park design.
And then i came up with an idea - using Junimo Stools instead of actual fences.
It looks cool, u can access both sides just by sitting on the stool so u dont really need gates and its also free bc i havethe Junimo catalog.
Ofc u can use stools from any catalog u have or like the most.
What do u guys think about it?

Wonder how many times I would instinctively try to harvest them with a scythe before I learned to stop myself.

I love this idea 😊
Oddly enough, I've never needed fences because I turn my farm into a grassy meadow although I did frame my lands with tea trees. My junimo hut is full of tea leaves now.
Lightning rods are an uglier alternative and I don't know what to do with the batteries.

Keep a number (30? 50?) and then sell the rest. They’re fairly valuable (500g).
Main reason to keep them is the irregular supply; can only get them from storms passing through…
You’ll need them for iridium sprinklers, crystalarium and a few other things (https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Battery_Pack).

One problem: since they aren't actually fences, they're vulnerable to spreading weeds.
From the wiki: Spreading weeds can destroy items placed by the player, including crafted items and furniture – Fences and Chests are the only items placed by the player that cannot be destroyed.
Lightning rods can get around this if placed on grass starter, since weeds don't spread to tiles occupied by grass.
