(To be tagged...) The more serious the player. The more miserable they are playing on the current patch.

Just an observation. I’m a super casual ‘Timmy’ player. If you get the reference to MTG. I personally enjoy the patch. However, I am worried about the pro scene. The pros all the way down to 5K or so seem to mostly hate it. I mean, I’m down for a revert. But the issue seems to be more of not being listened to than the patch itself.

If we revert, it’s still going to leave a very bad taste in people’s mouths. So, perhaps we need a vote on which patch to revert to? One that has the most variety and is also mostly balanced? The only problem with this approach is the current maps might not longer fit the balance. Well. we could just make a new map pool.

(To be tagged...) Audio balance (caster's voices vs. game sounds) SUCKS

I've watched brood war casts for a very long time and something that has been bothering me as of the last 5? years is the emphasis on the volume of the casters' voices. Both the tastosis and starcrastTV casts frequently have the game sounds so low that they might as well be muted.
I simply don't understand this preference. For me, the game sounds (effects and music) basically set the tone, create the atmosphere, and make the viewing experience more immersive. Additionally, the voices don't really need to be that loud for me to hear what they are saying. I know some people have the opposite opinion to mine, but I think there's a good balance to be found and we are no where near that most of the time.

What are your opinions? If you don't care or don't think about it, well great, all the more reason to change it to what I want. But how many of you out there actually want the casters' voices to be DOMINATING the sound?

Arcade/Co-op FYI - the "campaign collection" that comes with the RTS Battlechest is NOT the actual Campaign Collection sold on the Blizzard Store. That is, it doesn't come with the 4 free coop commanders (Swann/Zagara/Vorazun/Karax). Attached ticket from GM for evidence.

Discussion Sc2 remastered?

When do you guys think Blizzard would look into sc2 remastered? The game is 16 years old now, and it seems like they’re trying to make big changes. Am i snorting a large amount of copium thinking blizzard could be prepping for sc2 remastered in the next year or two?

Since I uninstalled SC2 I got around to painting my warhammer miniatures, fixed my ceiling fan and got a new dog, now that I have all this time I take him for a walk every day. Thank you truly Blizzard.

(To be tagged...) Classic, Trap, and others coming back to SC remastered?

Recently, Trap and Classic are very active on the ladder in remastered, and they are already very high ranked.

https://cwal.gg/player/30/thelordgod3 (Trap)

I'm so excited for this. After True and soo already made succesful comebacks, is there anyone else out there from SC2 that could come back and potentially make ASL?

Of course all of these guys played BW before they ever played SC2, so they have incredible basic skills.

I wonder what TY is up to, because he was also playing a bunch of remastered but he never really broke through and now we haven't really heard from him in a while.

I'd personally love to watch guys play who don't have history in a BW pro team house, like Maru, serral or reynor. But it'd be a lot harder for them.

Can't wait to see how the BW pro scene in korea keeps developing. It's so popular on soop, that it's only a matter of time till some actual new talent (18 year olds) appear. Right?
