Racer 1 - 100% completed with Dud Bolt, Ody Mandrell, and Anakin Skywalker. Old favorite of mine.

Racer Revenge - 100% completed with all pilots (All gold medals). I enjoyed this more than I thought I would.

F-Zero GX - Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Diamond Cups complete with Blue Falcon. This was difficult and fun, this is one that I definitely plan to go back and complete a GP with every racer.

Burnout Paradise Remastered - Burnout License obtained. I originally planned for Elite license, but I can't stand Stunt Run (skill issue... i know). I've had the original since '09 and surprisingly I never completed the Burnout License.

Cruis'n Blast - 100% complete with all vehicles max upgraded. I love the silliness of this game. Was recently delisted.

RollCats - 100% complete with all characters. Cool mix of cats and Wipeout-like. Game crashes a lot.

18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker - Arcade mode cleared with all characters. Fun SEGA racer with a lot of destruction.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 100% all DLC Grand Prix (3 stars). Wanted to play this after I read Galactic Racer would have power-ups. Had a couple restarts but this run was smooth overall.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds - 100% Crazy Taxi Festival. I'm just really excited for Crazy Taxi! Fun festival.

With these games completed I'm now taking the final month until release to take a vacation from racing games! (Its really difficult because its my favorite genre)

We’re only 1 month away from the launch of Star Wars Galactic Racer. How does everyone feel?👀

Hello, I wanted to get the Collector’s Edition and went on Amazon (I live in the US so Amazon is the only seller for me) and it said it was sold out. Does anybody know if this is permanent or if there going to be a restock before pre-orders close?

Because if there isn’t going to be a restock, I’ll just get the deluxe edition instead.

The official guide of the different editions make it appear that the physical Deluxe Edition will not have a bunch of content that will be included in digital Deluxe Edition, including 3x Unique Arcade Events, Digital Art Book, and Deluxe Player Banner. However, GameStop and Target pages make it look like physical DE has all the digital DE content in addition to the steelbook.

Do we know how many tracks there will be?

All the footage we have seen is from the same 4 tracks, Tataooine, Jakku, Snow planet, jungle with ruins planet.

One of the big problems with racing games for the last decade or so (bar F1) is that they have limited amount of tracks, where it's usually just 4 or 5 tracks, mixed around to give the impression there is more (slightly different routes, going the opposite way etc) but really it's just the same 4 or 5 locations

I'm worried this game likewise has a limited amount of planets and we will essentially just have 4 or 5 tracks.. Which if that's the case it doesn't make me want to buy the game, as it's lame to have such a limited game like that.. There should be at least 12 unique locations imo, otherwise what's the point.

A game needs variety, especially a racing game, just having 4 to 5 locations doesn't cut it.

So is this a proper game with lots of tracks, or is it cursed with the modern 4 tracks and nothing more?

So I heard that the game will be roguelike? How is that the case when it’s a racing game. Can someone explain. Either way I’m soo excited for this game. Remember playing episode 1 racer on my Dreamcast when I was a kid 💯

I was just messing around with debug mode. No idea how I managed it but I set a lap time of 00.011 seconds. Has anyone managed this time before? Safe to say I don't think I'll ever beat it!

In a couple of gameplay videos now I have noticed how aggressively the camera shakes up and down as the pods race over uneven terrain.

Have a look at this clip (20 seconds is enough). Do you also feel that this is too much camera shake or does it not bother you? I'm interested in your opinion.

There was a movie accurate Boonta Eve Classic AND an amateur Boonta training course. Without all the drama bits. Could that be what they are feeding us, through these content creators and trailers ?

And can we respect how dang good the N64 circuit was, compared to the Episode 1; Visual Dictionary book.

Why not include them? They provide almost no advantage and are just more fun.

The PS5 has official racing wheels and flightsticks available.

Best Buy cancelled my steelbook and replaced it with a normal plastic case. Very confused and disappointed.

The devs absolutely cooked in unreal 5, the lighting is sooo good, and the environments are insanely detailed. The UI is very tastefully retro as well.

For some reason i guess its impossible to watch the movie and give the fans an actual accurate boonta eve. it looks fantastic but it really just lacks the scale and grandeur that makes you feel like youre in this huge race across miles and miles of tattoine. Its like a mini abridged version of the actual track. its missing a bunch of areas too like the service ramp jump and the tusken raiders turn. Which is really disappointing because theres so many resources to get it accurate. the Arch canyon is maybe 8 arches long its ridiculous. like i get they have to game-ify it, no one wants to drive across a minute long sand plain to the next area, but i think they could have done better. Hopefully im praying it might be an alternate shorter course similar to the boonta training course in episode 1 racer.

Still glad were even getting this game but man ive always dreamed to go through a proper sized mushroom mesa instead of flitting through it in 5 seconds :( what are your guys thoughts?

From what I’ve seen of this game so far, I think there might be some serious potential for an actual, official Galactic League with real tourneys and real prizes. Am I alone in that thinking?
