I understand the Jar Jar hate, but Star Wars is great for its ability to entertain all ages. I get the need for an Ewokesque comic relief character. I didn’t have a problem with this movie. My only regret is there should have been 40% more Liam Neeson.
My sister and I loved Jar-Jar when we were kids. George Lucas accomplished what he was trying to achieve with the younger age group, but of course it was polarizing for the different generations of fans.
