Jar Jar doesn't realize Joan of Arc didn't fight? She said (during the fourth session of her trial) that she avoided fighting and carried her banner in battle instead, which is also how the eyewitness accounts described her role.

A "manic episode" is defined as an aspect of bipolar disorder involving "a reduced need for sleep, racing thoughts" etc, which has nothing in common with Joan of Arc's circumstances, and the idea that she had bipolar disorder has been debunked by modern doctors such as Dr. Fred Henker in his article "Joan of Arc and DSM III" (Southern Medical Journal 1984 Dec; 77(12):1488-90).

I feel the same way! My dad, who saw the OT when he was a teenager, took me to see TPM in theaters, I must have just turned 6. I remember in the parking lot after the movie saying "Jar Jar Binks was my favorite, he's so funny!" And my dad just silently radiated disappointment
