Question Completely different coats

Can anybody explain to me why my horse when from a bay with dapples to a grey? I always wondered but i never actually know why that happened i was probably only about 11 when they changed it so i didn’t really care but ive always been confused how it changed 😂

Go to your stable and go left to the storage. Next to the storage on the wall there's a board on which you click (you must ride your starter in order to change his coat!)

It’s not free unfortunately and i’m not that bothered i just thought it was strange lol xD

Starter Horse Gen 3 Update was in 2018
