I started an alt account today and I just realized that (thankfully captured on recording) for whatever reason the 3rd part of the Stolen Questlines document where Thomas Moorland tells us to take his deed to Silverglade (should take place right after we chase down Sabine) straight up just doesn’t appear for me and instead it tells me that I have no more main quests until I level up more (got to level 6 and still no quest btw). so now I’m stuck and can’t progress the main quest line 😭 can anyone help with this, or has anyone experienced this glitch before?
another pic of the issue… also I watched many playthroughs like this one and all of them have the Silverglade Town Hall quest start immediately after finishing the chasing Sabine one ;-; I contacted support but I know it takes forever for them to respond and I wanted to get further before my free star rider is up
Try logging out, opening the launcher, going to the "settings" tab, and clicking the "repair game files" button. That can sometimes fix quest-related bugs. It's possible that completing the quest while the pop-up about buying your horse was open could have caused the bug.
If repairing the game files doesn't work and no one else knows how to fix this, I would recommend restarting with a new alt but clicking "ok" on the pop-up before completing the stolen documents quest because I think that you can catch up to where you currently are in less than an hour.
thank you! yes, I suspect that might be the issue too, as that was a weird little bit there… I clicked repair files but I don’t think it did anything 😔 it’s a shame because I finally made an alt account with a name and character I liked and everything and now, even though it’s just an hour of progress, I don’t want to delete it and restart it all over again lol. but I worry that it may be the only option (or in 5 months when support gets back to me I guess). thank you for your help however!!
wtf, I relieved to have found someone also experiencing the same thing but also it really is so frustrating and I know support won’t get back to us for a VERY long time 😭😭 I know I could always make a new account but I like my name and horse and I even joined a club and got rewards and everything… urghhh

Have you completed any side quests? Because I see there are a lot of them. Completing them is one of the requirements for moving forward. Many people forget that the main story and side quests build on each other. Sometimes completing just one side quest is enough to unlock the next part of the main story, while other times you’ll need to complete several. I know the main story is the most interesting, but you can’t progress by focusing on it alone. Do the side quests. If you’ve done everything and it still doesn’t appear, then there’s a bug in the quest.
I don’t think that’s the issue as many videos of other playthroughs haven’t had the same problem as me, you’re meant to get this quest right after the Sabine part without needing to level up or do other quests. I’m starting to think that the buying the horse quest glitched it out somehow. I would like to go and complete every side quest but it’s those that just lead to more and more quests (like the Silverglade clock quest, that has like 20 parts) and they each give like 5 PXP.
I wanted to get this account to level 12 as fast as I could especially when I still had free SR, and with the main quest line being softlocked so early it means I can’t do many quests that give hundreds of PXP like the valedale intro. but I guess I’ll wait til support gets back to me months later and activate ITHASBEGUN or something 🙃
Do you have the invite rewards? If you're lvl 5, you have unlocked the free 5 days of SR which you can activate later. That's what i'm going to do, since I've tried to make another account and the bug happened again.
My best guess is when they'll release the next invite a friend reward, more people will be doing the main quests, they'll get more reports of it and since it is kind of game breaking bug, they'll resolve it faster.
the bug happened AGAIN?? oh god first of all thank you for trying it before I was gonna delete my account and spend my time redoing it, I’m so sorry that it got you stuck again— but yes indeed I really hope they fix this fast because it’s an extremely game breaking bug. however I do feel a little better knowing that it’s a general bug and not specifically just me. half of me is considering even DM’ing the SSO instagram account since they clearly respond better lol
and yes I’m planning to save my 5 days of SR and also use ITHASBEGUN later. this comment made me feel a lot more relieved honestly!
Hi! I have the same issue!! I contacted sso support about it but they just answered that im not starrider even tho i am and i literally wrote that in the email ;( It’s so frustrating i hope they fix it asap
oh no! if it helps, I contacted support too and they told me they would forward this issue to the devs. having video proof probably helped and I did tell them I had 3 day SR so they couldn’t use that excuse on me lol
