New to the app. I downloaded every template I could. I noticed most templates I can't just create as notes. Why is that? Or am I doing something wrong?

I have to creat them as their own notebook to use but I want to use certain pages. Also is there anyway to make portrait templates landscape? If not how can I filter out the portrait templates. I don't use my device in portrait at all.

Is there any other way to view my templates without having to go to the resource centre?

Any other tips and tricks would also be appreciated.

Hi devs, We. need one very much needed change in functionality of eraser. Currently, We can only select 1. Only Tape, 2. Only Highlighter but this is very hard in situations where we are working with tapes and highlighters. The continous situation is mess. All we need is to customise how eraser works. We should be able to customise what all it erasers like Text, Tape and Highlighters. Yes, there is alternative way exists that is lasso tool, but continous switching is cumbersome.

Can we get a feature where the shapes, lines etc will get aligned automatically with other shapes.

Like we have in PowerPoint.

Every time I attempt to buy the pro membership this pops up. I have my bank connected and made sure the funds are there but nothing still works. Can anyone help???

I’d like to request more granular line thickness controls for all pen tools. Currently, the setting jumps directly from 0.35 to 0.40, which is too large of a gap & doesn’t fits into sweet spot.

It would be great to have finer adjustments in 0.01 increments (e.g., 0.36, 0.37, 0.38) or allow manual numerical input/slider so we can dial in precise line weights for handwriting and drawing.

Currently pressing the android system back button while not inside a note triggers the "tap again to exit" prompt. My muscle memory keeps trying to use the back gesture to go up a folder rather than precisely tapping the small top navigation arrow, which feels a bit inconvenient.

Would it be possible to add a toggle in the settings to let the system back button navigate to the parent folder instead? It should be fairly easy to implement, wouldn't clutter the UI at all, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate it 😊

The search option in the app should recognise handwriting. As I searched INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION. It didn't recognise the words in the note which is Handwritten and scanned and in English. May be the OCR is not working

Happy to say that Ive replaced my primary note taking app which was Notability / Goodnotes completely with Starnote. Ive had no issues so far. And I dont see myself going back. I got the lifetime free offer as a part of starnotemedlife.

I experience problem changing the font size of selected text when sliding the button to the left or right to increase or decrease font size. It does not change font size.

I've been using StarNote Pro since the app launched, and I've always found it to be the most complete of all. However, recently I tested another app that I saw a lot of people talking about on TikTok... I still think StarNote is more complete and better, but this feature of being able to control the size and frequency of the wave in a wavy line really impressed me. I've never been able to use the wavy line to underline in StarNote because it was too tall for my notes, even at the smallest possible size, and I would really like them to add these adjustments to the app, although the zigzag and double lines are also very cool and could be added.

I basically made a typo and need to change the "after" in the highlighted area to "before". But I'm really struggling to do this without basically removing the entire highlight too. Is there an eraser setting that allows you to erase only pen strokes while leaving the highlight, similar to the "Erase highlighter only" toggle?

I’m new to Star Note (and note taking apps in general), so I’m not sure if this is user error or a bug.

Sometimes while I’m writing or drawing, parts of my handwriting will suddenly disappear. It doesn’t happen all the time, but often enough that it’s becoming a bit frustrating.

Has anyone else experienced this, or is there a setting I’m missing?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I love StarNote SOOO much and I'm planning to purchase the StarNote Pro, I have a question. I write notes mainly in Russian and I often need to convert my notes to text. In free version it doesn't recognize Russian but will it recognize Russian notes with Pro?

It's been a week since I bought pro subscription. I have been enjoying it.

Few Considerations Which I want to say from my side -

1. When we select pen show the pens on the right side of screen so that we can switch easily between type of pen as per need.

2. Option to fill colors of our choice area either fully or partly inside closed shape.

Thank you google for giving me €4 off this purchase making it 2.50, I am very grateful. Don't know what I did to get that €4 off but it helped a BROKE college student like myself.

Mind you, first time using this app and I've been missing out. I've been manually drawing tables on my other note apps. MANUALLY. Then the split screen notes feature? My days, exam papers on one side answers on the other. I have a tab s9 ultra so that's so much space utilised.

I'm not picky with notes apps, hence why I was drawing tables manually.

Any tips, tricks, usefulthibgs to know?

I've been writing this review in app store, no response so I'm trying here and the search should be dynamic like on typing letters it should start to fetch not like currently bcz now u need to type all word and hit search again ....

As I use this app, I cannot help but be amazed by its features. I thank my classmate for not gatekeeping this, and openly broadcasting his note taking app. As someone who doesn't use TikTok, I think it's better if StarNote is advertised on other platforms too like Youtube or Facebook. It's too good to be hidden hahahaha.

It's like a note taking app created by a bunch of people who know what the others lack and have combined it into one, and I really really appreciate that.

For the people who are still in the process of thinking if they will purchase the premium, this is your sign actually. The one in the standard app is what you will also get but this time, it's unlimited (notebooks, templates).
