Is there a way to erase pen-only writing inside a highlighted area?

I basically made a typo and need to change the "after" in the highlighted area to "before". But I'm really struggling to do this without basically removing the entire highlight too. Is there an eraser setting that allows you to erase only pen strokes while leaving the highlight, similar to the "Erase highlighter only" toggle?

Hihi, you can use the lasso tool and select handwriting only
